Disco with this fixture was exactly what I was thinking. I wasn't around for disco, but some of the patterns reminded me of those iconic Bee Gees dance sequences from Saturday Night Fever.
I have the older version of this fixture. It's very cool. I only wish ADJ made it smaller, though. Definitely a center piece for dance floor, ceiling, or wall. Thanks for showing it off.
Enjoyed your video and picked one up last week. You showed the different show modes, then show mode 0 is "random" but when I set it that way, sound active, it seems to be missing some of the effects/patterns. I have sat and watched it for at least 45min to an hour and something doesn't seem right. It changes based on sound, so I know sound active mode is working but it's still missing the random switching to all the different shows. Can you suggest something I can try, or perhaps a hard reset to factory settings if you know how to do that? I can't find that anywhere.
Just wondering, is there a DMX mode that lets uou switch between each show from your DMX board? Oh, yeah. I don't think I want to go to the trouble to pixel map this either. Cool fixture though
Does anybody know if the OLD revo 4's work with myDMX buddy? I tried using the effects (like fire, rainbow & bouncing balls) and got nothing. Was I doing something wrong?
Got two of these and running them on DMX. I'm completely disappointed at the lack of control. 12 static patterns which I can color mix. 6 chases in four colors and 6 chases in red. Plus sound activated mode. Please, someone tell me I'm missing something. I was told the Revo 4 and revo 4IR are the same DMX profile. This light has so much potential that I cant access. Anyone have the same problem? Solutions?

I've always wanted an original Revo-4. Glad they brought this light up to date. Very cool budget effect.

The issue with a slight if you don’t have a speaker right next to it does sound active doesn’t work so it doesn’t run as fast

its probably the best led dot fixture that's out today. not really a fan of these types of effects but using it with my dmx looks really cool
Needs to have yellow/Amber dots. What about sound active mode? What about DMX mode? How does it mount? Does the patterns have speed control?

If you're using haze or smoke with the fix then 256 channel DMX mode in My DMX is brilliant if you're willing to spend the time on it.
The dot lighting fixtures look very dated now even with updated patterns
It’s old looking the dots are terrible I get it it’s a cheap light and it’s adj I’m sure they can steal something better from China.
