I’m really grateful that I was raised around all of these. Between my Great Grandma, Grandma and Mom I know the ins and outs very well and it drives me crazy that some of these decks are guiding people to ways Tarot wasnt meant to be used!
That’s a great idea! With framing the decks! I have a couple decks that I also don’t agree with the books etc. if I use them I just k ow I won’t use the way they interpret them.
The artwork is gorgeous! I feel though that this deck is best for a very niche group of people who love and have knowledge of mushrooms. The interpretation of the images for the meanings of the cards is very clouded and not easy to understand. If I knew more about each individual mushroom, I could probably interprete the images. But I don't.
Absolutely agree a deck should never suggest medical attention. I use the guide book on all of mine, it helps you interpret the meaning and most cards have the base meaning and may elaborate or put a twist but usually the same underline meaning
I would love a mushroom deck-like your husband they have a special place in my heart. The deck IS beautiful. I know you have discussed that the guidebook is there to always reference, so in practice, would it be wrong? to use the deck for yourself or is the intent still there with cloudiness for the interpretations?
Sounds like this deck is more for show and not use, it's a good learning deck to see the disconnect. But definitely not one to use with it's own guide book. I would so totally get this deck to spread on my wall for art work, but I wouldn't actually use it to read.
I have a question. If the cards “mean what they mean”, why can’t you gnome the lwb, and use these gorgeous cards, and read them like you would a deck that you agree with the lwb? Is it the energy the author creates around the cards? Or is it just for beginners, who would be mislead as to meanings? I love your reviews, and wanted to know why you can’t use the deck. TIA.
I'm so disappointed with this deck, I'm a mushroom hunter, and wanted this deck, as a extra layer, but feel they have taken the cosmo quiz and fortune telling in this deck, instead of real tarot.

I totally agree! 💯🖤
I have this wonderful, amazing deck and i am excited to listen to what you have to say.
What novelty decks do you enjoy? I like the Hocus Pocus deck’s art and for nostalgia.

* ignore, not gnome. Drunk elves at Autocorrect strike again!
The art is beautiful, but not a deck I would get especially after it suggests medical advice and takes out the choice wording for the lovers.
