I got a Black Shark at Petsmart in the late 90s that looks like a red-tailed shark but without the red tail. It grew to 15" and just died a few weeks ago!! It lived over 20 years and outlived about four dogs and two cats.

Best little cichlid is your Bolivian. They colour up to their surroundings so dark substrate they pop black, pink, yellow awesome little ones

Yes they do that on certain fish
I’ve seen plenty of fish stores that don’t guarantee your fish. You have to consider that everyone doesn’t keep their fish properly on in the greatest conditions that may be recommended for certain fish. Just saying could be why or the fish types they have marked are sensitive.
I like the way they put a Betta in every tank. Instead of those lil bowls. It’s sad it’s not many mom and pop fish stores left. Love to support them instead of the big chain stores that dnt care for the animals properly.

I'll be at the store the entire day looking at those fish. A lot of tanks has no guarantees listed on the glass and I wouldn't fall in love or buy them because a light bulb lights up in my mind thinking this fish will die and I'll lose my money. Sad thing if it does die, I'll be crying for sure!

They sell more than just fish
I wanted some Pacus but they get absolutely huge
My IBC tank ain't gonna cut it because of how big they get
The Red tail catfish would be nice to have also but again they also get big
To keep monster fish you are gonna need big pool
That's the only way I see monster fish being happy
