Considering how important these symbols are as a prerequisite for other math subjects, it's kind of crazy that there isn't an easier way to learn about them. So for that, I thank you very much.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an excellent explanation into the Top 50 Mathematical Symbols in English and some in the classical Greek Alphabet. The classical Mathematical Symbols are used in Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Old Fashion Chemistry. and Computer Programming Languages. This is an error free video/lecture on RUclips TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Awesome! Thanks so much sir! I liked the video. So I hit the tumbs-up button and i got a reward. The thumbs-up button got bigger and blew up I mean there was confetti everywhere
Sqrt(-1) is undefined, it is not good to write sqrt(-1) = i, namely because j and k (quaternions) would also be written as sqrt(-1) = j and sqrt(-1) = k which implies i=j=k (obviously false). The proper définition is i^2 = -1 and that's it
Here are some things you might like to learn about(from Physics): *•Hawking Radiation* *•Mass-Energy Equation(E=mc²)* *•Black Holes* *•White Hole Concept* *•Quantum Fluctuation* *•Shrödinger's Cat Thought* *•Double Slit Experiment* *•Wave Function Collision* *•Quantum Decoheretion* (Take it as a random gift; or a curse maybe)

With all due respect I truly believe you should change the title of this channel. I have read the "about" and you cover a myriad of topics. However, it is misleading to say Organic chemistry when it is not. That's why I came here and it's not what you have been uploading. You need an all exclusive title if you going to discuss so many other topics.
That's a surface integral. Basically, similar to how you integrate a one dimensional line to get a two dimensional area, a surface integal will give you the three dimensional volume that is bounded by a curved two dimensional surface area. You're just going up by one dimension.
@@juliavixen176 interesting. Would you get the same result by integrating the surface area formula we learned back in calc bc, integral a to b(sqrt(1+[f’(x)]^2)dx? How is this different from a double integral to get volume

I have often found your videos to be very helpful and have recommended them to others. This video however I’m not quite sure what the purpose of it was. IT seems to be more of a review for people who are already familiar with the symbols. It would be helpful if you also wrote out the words that went along with the symbols such as perpendicular or parallel! Greater than less than etc. (you did write out ratio which was great and a few others). As a review I found it useful and will recommend it to others, I just would not use it as an introduction to the symbols of math.
I like the video but in what way are any of these symbols "in English"? Most are purely mathematical symbols like +, -, =,... the rest are from the greek alphabet and the latin alphabet!

I would argue the sqrt symbol and cbrt symbols are one symbol, namely the radical symbol.
Do the line and ray symbols mean only a line? I mean something like this:
*** AB
(where *** refers to symbol)
or just,
***

At 1:46, you said absolute value just makes numbers positive. Don't do that. It outputs the distance from zero, not the positive version of a number.
It’s the same thing. By the time you get to complex numbers when “positive” stops meaning anything, you’ll be calling it the modulus instead.
