More About Amy Jo Johnson: Amy Jo Johnson (born October 6, 1970) is an American-Canadian actress, filmmaker, singer-songwriter, and director. Johnson began her acting career in her early twenties, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and, after she left the series, went onto star in Felicity, The Division, and Flashpoint while pursuing a career as a musician and a filmmaker.

I’ve met Amy Jo Johnson Twice in person once at the Dallas Fan Expo in 2018 and at the Chicago C2E2 in 2019. Amy is such a sweetheart. I’ve met all the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. They where all nice people to meet. But Amy is the nicest. She is so fan friendly outgoing and has a fun personality. I can’t wait to see her again. If you haven’t met her you really need to. She’s Morphinomenel 👍
Met her once in Texas back in 2017, however, there is a large portion of the Power Ranger fandom that is dissapointed that she has never been to PMC, which is the largest Power Rangers-themed Convention on Earth.
She was my first crush. I remember being 10 and loving Kimberly :D

I believe that's the case for the majority of fans who haven't met Amy Jo yet, because she was the most elusive of the MMPR era Rangers for the longest time, kept her distance from the fandom or franchise longer than any other Mighty Morphin era Ranger
I can still remember watching the very first episode of Power Rangers like it was yesterday I was about 9 years old and it was my favorite thing in the world and now I own the DvD sets and I get to watch it again with my nieces & nephews and they love it just as much as I did when I was a kid I will always be a Power Ranger fan ⚡

Yeah I always had a crush on Tommy
Yeah but none of them have really been as active within the power ranger community and the show itself as JDF has. He’s reprised his role more than 5 times now. He’s been about 5 different rangers. The other actors don’t take offense to it. Though they were proud of being apart of the show they really couldn’t give two flips about whose better or whose the leader or whose the face of the entire power ranger brand.. Since JDF doesn’t care to take acting serious he’s taken on that mantel of being “THEE power ranger”. For the other actors professionally being apart of power rangers isn’t a good look for their resume because it’s a non union show.
I'm very glad that she's coming out to meet the fans now, doing these Conventions, events, shows, etc., However, what disappoints me and many other fans is that she still has yet to do the West Coast, to this day, she's never done a convention or event, show, in California or the West Coast yet, and she's been doing it like since 2015/2016.
Yes, that's what desperate, over-the-hill people do. I never talk to or acknowledge my fans. Ever. I want nothing to do with them. They're slugs.

So the show wasn’t a HUGE impact on my life, like I always had fun with it, I had the toys, saw the movie. But legit, Kimberly and Trini were my favorite characters 🙌🏻❤️

Get one thing straight....she isnt doing these cons for the Fans...shes only doing It for her directorial carrer noone cares about.
also, a lot of fans don't like it how she seems to keep her distance from most of the Ranger cast members of MMPR, she pretty much only talks to, interacts with JDF and David Yost, when she has done shows, cons in which other MMPR rangers have been there, her booth ended up being far away from them. The manager, boss of PMC, says that Amy Jo doesn't want to do events with other Rangers, but it sounds like she will only do them with either JDF or David Yost. She is the only ranger of the MMPR era cast that has never attended PMC before.
Also, a lot of fans don't like the way she does business at shows, cons, she charges high appearance fees, wants a guaranteed amount of money paid to her in advance before she shows up, which means the money she makes from meeting the fans alone(autographs, pics) is only additional money for her. A fan said this about her, I feel he brought up a good point, he said "screw your fees Amy, you'll make bank, a fortune at a Ranger convention like PMC"
Exactly. She wasted her prime like every other hottie in Hollywood. She's a wife and mom anyway. I'm sure that VP at a venture capital fund she married is just the sexiest guy she ever met #sarcasm
Since she has never done a convention that is Power Ranger-themed, such as PMC and Rangerstop, a lot of fans feel she doesn't fully embrace the Power Ranger fandom or she doesn't like being associated with her Power Ranger past
Yes. It's the only way she can get fans. And more money. She needs money if she wants to direct more movies so doing conventions is good source of income pretty stable.
