I went Mary Ward in the early 90's when the program was first introduced and the format allowed me to graduate early, it's not for everyone. I was able to accelerate in subjects I loved but lagged behind in others such a Math. Sometimes teens lack the self-discipline to keep themselves on track but I was much better prepared for university and life in general because I learnt many life lessons early when it didn't have a harmful impact. Go MARY WARD!

The discussion shows how panelists react to headlines vs actual content. Which can cause misinformation. The discussion is not reflective of the actual school curriculum. It prepares these students for real life where you need discipline to manage your time for success. I’m a graduate and I also didn’t have rich parents who had a business waiting for me to run (haha wild. It’s a school in North Scarborough agincourt. And it’s not a private school). I’m glad I have an open mind and can see successful curriculums can look different than what you’re accustomed to. maybe it’s because I graduated from Mary Ward where my friends competed to get better grades and finish work most quickly. How suitable for competitive people who turn into successful adults!

As a graduate of Mary Ward I would say it was the best thing I could have done for myself!
I found that when I went into college, I was more prepared for the structure of it. Even after graduating college, it has helped me a lot in my career. Gives you a sense of time management & scheduling. It has helped me develop a sense of ownership & independence. I loved my time there!
There is structure, in a sense, it teaches you to meet deadlines & manage your time lol

I'm happy for the social connections I gained at Mary Ward, but I would never send my children there. It's great to be a part of the teaching staff though. Imagine not having to teach classes every period, or day, and only really have to mark work at the end of the school year when students are frantically trying to not fail there classes.
