Elise Parton is a shining light for the state of South Carolina. Yes, we need more qualified people running for office, but we needElise to run for a statewide office. Let's get with her and encourage her to run for Governor or the US senate. She can win and our state will benefit greatly! John Boudreaux

I have considered running for the local city council. She is right in my opinion, we need diversity and those who are not accustomed to running to run the government. Different viewpoints add diversity and maybe a better way of ruling.

Ktech2018 Elisha check your states election website, pick a position you want to run for, apply for the paperwork and someone from the elections office will contact you with nomination forms, from there you can ask them questions and send in emails of your nomination signatures to have them check how much are certified signatures before you submit your nomination forms. There’s a lot more which will also be in the election website. You need to also file a committee which you will need a bank account to have separate monies that you need to report. You have to open a business bank account for this so you need to file for an LLC in order to get the business bank account for your campaign committee

Depending on your town/city population, generally campaigning for mayor is one of the lowest political stances a person can hold. From there it goes from state senate/governor I’m assuming. You can also work executively as the assistant to your mayor/governor. Aim low first and see where you’re at.
