Devs confirmed that overload ATK buffs not applying to Dorothy's branding is a bug and will be fixed in an upcoming patch, so Dorothy will be dealing 20-30% more damage with good overload gear. Seems like Liter is better with low investment for general use/utility, but Dorothy is better for pure DPS with high investment
Assuming you only talk about boss battle, already has a high investment party, allowed to manually controling Dorothy, and the boss has breakable parts then I completely agree. Outside that scenario, I think Liter still has an edge over Dorothy. Especially since Dorothy might brand the wrong enemy if you let her on auto
btw the patch note already mentioned about the atk% is not affecting Dorothy burst and its getting fixed soon, and NOW you want atk% , and dorothy burst cant crit so the only thing you wanna have is just atk% line after they fix it

Damn I just got lucky I got her on the 1 free pull then used 10 rainbow tickets and got 2 more copies back to back I had gotten first copy with gold tickets so I got to save all my gems 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

before dorothy I could punch about 5k above my current power with dorothy i can almost get 10k in difference to current power. She's super broken especially since I never had liter so Soda was my DPS B1

I have her lb1, she is good as modernia and scarlet definitely, its my first time clearing modernia up to 9 only 5 4 4 skill levels compared to liter where Im stuck at 6-7, 6 5 6 skills with lb2

i still dont see how can she be better than the old litter. I cant pull for her to quit on litter because my litter is c6 and 14k.

My liter and her are on equal ground and Dorothy is outdamaging her by a lot. I tested both on Modernia last night and did 16mil damage more on the team overall at 1 second left in the fight. I actually could not even clear the fight with Liter in my surrent state. I usually only get to stage 8. With Dorothy I had like 10 seconds left after I cleared 9.

that might be a bad idea... dorothy cant bench Liter..at all.
The cover recovery is still super useful, recenlty tried to finish nihilister, although I did a lot of dmg and got pretty far with Dorothy, the cover recovery actually let my entire team survive.
Edit: This was even with Rapunzel healing, her healing (with OL Gear) wasnt enough to keep up, cover basically prevents that dot.

@@peternash7104 I'm not sure I agree with that, I believe they fufill different roles and therefore are situationally different. Hence why I believe she cant be benched. I find myself using them interchangeably, I suppose my point being is that, Dorothy isnt always going to be a catch all. And you can't really denounce a 50% atk up either.
@@peternash7104 Oh also, its not worth Core 7ing dorothy, someone already did the math, 3.3 mil to 3.6 mil isnt even a 10% increase in damage for the amount of rolling you would have to do to accomplish that. If you WERE going to roll more than one copy, which fortunately its just sweaty minmaxing at that point, you could get her to MLB, but primarily for the advise levels.

I agree to disagree, sure enough she has a lot going on, she absolutely solid no doubt. Like I said she just doesnt bench Liter. Many people focus on the burst because while they proc differently both Liter and Dorothy have cd reduction while Liter's atk up is indiscriminate of character.
Again my point is, Dorothy isnt benching Liter, people will continue use Liter thats all im saying. Gimping yourself (the OP) by never using a good character in other comps is sorta weird imho. I honestly think we are arguing about two different things at this point. lol

Ya the increased attack doesn’t really affect burst skill damage even multiple copies the damage could go from 1.5 mil for example to 1.7 if you mlb her. So honestly one copy for most is just fine. I was gonna mlb her but just gonna stick with 1 copy but still use adv tickets to just roll for her
@@peternash7104 No your right it affects that skill as well. But there was a bug announced for burst skill. So looks like what I was talking about was a bug issue. But good point on skill 2
Liter still the best b1 unit. Better support and dmge. I still pulled her for waifu over meta .pilgrim mold is unreliable to get pilgrim
the only thing any molds are reliable for is sr units
Dorothy can deal wayyyy more damage, but it depends on the stage. In union raid, just replace liter with her and you'll see a considerable damage increase. But stages with more small enemies, her burst doesn't really go off, so liter is better
@@hubbabubba5177 union raids barely happens and when it does it give trash rewards that u can get by joining any good guilds without much contribution. I'm now hoping I can at least use Dorothy to beat the train because she's so bad at story and story bosses.
