I am a hindu convert and follow no particular denomination. I am a follower of jesus christ. My husband passed away four years ago and this song "i am not alone" gives me joy that I am not alone. My redeemer is always with me.

That is so beautiful. My husband and I have been married for 43 years. We are both unwell and one day will finish this life "alone." I know that we are truly never alone! I died and met our blessed Lord and Savior. We will all be together again. Bless you sister.❤

I'm apart of "The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, and this is such a beautiful song.And the more I listen to this I can feel the holy ghost over my shoulder. I always know heavenly father will always be with me,and I know that "Families can be together".I am only an 11 year old 5th grader and I really do know my redeemer lives!!!

I'm a recent convert mormon and I am forever grateful to be a member of the His Kingdom here on Earth. I love how the church taught me about the greatness and how merciful our Father in Heaven that He even gave His Son so we can obtain Eternal Life. How merciful He is! I testify that Jesus is the Christ, the Holy Messiah and I know that He lives. My redeemer lives. Our Redeemer lives!

The Baptist Minister that wrote the original version in 1775 originally wrote it to minister to sailors. He had once been a wayward sinner and came to Christ. Later the Lutherans adopted this as a favorite, in a fashion as some of the Lutherans in America became LDS, they brought this song with them. Then Michael R. Hicks modern arrangement became a winner.

So I'm a Mormon and I've always loved this hymn but this song was just so powerful to me. I'm crying as I'm typing this, and I've never really felt like this before. It just reminds me of how my brother (20) is on a mission and the fact that I have received so many blessings since he's gone, my testimony has gotten stronger. I'm only 14 but this is just so powerful!

When we joined the Church now almost 50 years ago we sang this at the baptismal service. On my mission I learned it in Spanish and everytime I sang it or still hear it, it reinforces my faith!

This is one of my favorite hymns. I've memorized it in French, and quite frequently play and sing the French version on here. It's amazing, the way the Spirit still speaks peace to your heart when listening to a hymn that's not in your native tongue!
when my nephew past away I listened to this song with my babies it brought us piece and I felt my nephew was there with us he was 9, I know god has a plan and my newphew is with his mother in the spirit world. I am a Mormon & love being one.

Spookie thats How Til We Meet Again is for me. It tends to be a funeral hymn which after my cousins funeral when he was 17 and i was in my early 20s, was never quite the same for me.
