I have been using 10 percent for over 6 months now and believe me guys it has worked wonder! I don't get acne anymore and it has minimised my pores and worked a little on my acne scars. I'll try vitamin c serum with niacinamide now.

9:56 Will any of them really control sebum production? I have tried 1% niacinamide serum and 3% niacinamide moisturiser. None of them has controlled any sebum production whatsoever. So, will using a higher concentration of 10% or 5% reduce my oiliness? I have an extremely oily skin that easily gets oily within an hour. I have tried 2% salicylic acid and zinc PCA face washes too. I am tired and fed up now. Please help. I have no problem of acne or scars despite my extreme oiliness. All products just target acne only. None is specifically designed for oil control only. Oil control is what that talk about as a side benefit towards the last part.

@@muktadixit see....I have stop using niacinamide. Tretin 0.025% I m using now. I never found any wow factor in niacinamide, as I have used minimalist and d construct. I think these are business strategy by influencers...you can use tretin 0.025% . There are some precautions.. please follow that. You can refer from you tube video also. It is amazing.

I recently bought the 10% one. I found it very soothing and nice to use on my acne prone skin. But in one review I found it was clear and transparent while the bottle I got had a translucent one with a white cloudy colour, not exactly clear. Consistency and absorption are normal and the serum is homogenous. Is Niacinamide 10% serum clear and watery ?
I also got niacin 10% slightly cloudy..i asked them they replied that its normal as it has got aloevera xtract..anyway it didnt cause me any harm
It depends the new formulation comes in a slightly cloudy bottle. But the formulation is pretty mich same

I generally cleanse my face then on damp skin I use the minimalist 5% niacinamide serum when the serum is absorbed into the skin I use the alpha arbutin serum for acne scar then after that I follow up with a moisturizer .. like these steps are oky ???? Or I'm doing any wrong plz tell that .. and one more question whenever I use the oat moisturizer after applying the serum it tends to peel like why ..

i would keep going bc purging lasts 2-4 weeks, also remember that purging is always pimples and never cystic acne

Mam, my skin is sensitive acne prone oily skin and my current skin regime is D acne saliyslic acid facewash and cuvia sunscreen of spf 30 recommeded by doctor and i use lacto calamine for oily skin as a daily wear moisturiser.

Hey dear. I'm using alfa Arbutin and niacinamide 10 percent both from the minimalist. I m confused that if I apply alfa Arbutin first on my damp skin then how long I would have to wait for layering it with niacinamide. pls suggest
Until it dries , but alpha arbutin gets degraded by water right? So u shld apply it on dry skin
@@Valeriaa6240 thanks but my concern is the gap between the two as alfa Arbutin contains hylaraunic acid which sucks moisture from the skin if moisturizer is not applied over it. And moisturizer is to be applied after niacinamide.

1 min -2 min gap is enough
Not entirely true.its applicable during formulation. You can apply it on both damp and dry skin. Damp skin makes the product absorb faster while dry skin sometimes leaves a sticky residue.

Yes you can but if you tend to have more sensitive skin 5% may be a better introductory to niacinimide

@@ishitachakraborty4448 yes, if you think your skin can handle it. Slowly integrate it though, apply 10 perc every other day at first and then soon every day if theres no reaction. If you experience irritation whatsoever, take a break for a few days and stick with the smaller percentage.

You can definitely use it that way but don’t use it every day! Start applying both the products twice or thrice a week and slowly after sometime u may use it more often but i would say using these products thrice a week would be enough!
