I am a DB9 owner and love the work you have done Josh and the way you have chronicled the build. Can't wait for you to announce your next project. Cheers mate.
Love the work on this! Amazing to see it brought back to life - was lucky to own a black N420 and now have a silver N430, hope you get some fun miles in!
I have a 2010 N420, absolutely love it. Really enjoying your journey. 👍🏻
What a great re cap. Love the car and the finish you have achieved is second to none. Well done Josh. Keep up the good work and one day I’ll make you a coffee 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Josh, thanks for the videos, and thanks for the work you've done for the FB group as well. Appreciate you, mate.
No probs dude, hopefully see you around at some AMDIY meets
Legend josh was a pleasure to work with you on the Aston

Amazing. I've only just got my first Camper!
Super fun vehicles man, I miss mine. Be sure to check put some of my older videos on the camper
Good on ya english man I'm irish but we good
Did you not take off the red paint on bonnet before re- painting it? Looked like you just painted straight over the old paint?
It wasn't necessary in all places. The paintwork was sanded back to a point where paint could be laid on top without any imperfections.
It would be nice to do it the way yours saying but it would just take way more labour and cost a lot more to get the same end result
@@CorpsMedia yes I get you but the bonnet is one of worst panels to of not sanded back. You always get stone chips and now when you get stone chips it will chip off and you'll see red paint spots. Personally I'd consider getting it PPF over the bonnet
That's a fair point. I belive the primer for these were in red anyway. I was considering ppf now it's in the condition it's in
@@CorpsMedia possibly so. I've just bought a e92 M3 and finding paint issues exactly like I described lol. I'm getting a repaint then ppf saves on the OCD stress lol
@@DaleSteel sounds good man, tag me in some pictures on insta
Why didn't you get The Hamworthy Body shop to paint it ? too expensive ?
They were originally going to do it, but because they were going to do it at cost it meant I had to wait for some time free on the ramp. This took a little longer than planned as they are super busy since their work is to such a high standard. I then approached some other garages for quotes (but I obviously wanted to take part in the process). Stuart at SC performance offered to do it and teach me the process so I took him up on the offer (he also did me a slight discount).
Lovely car mate, van was nicer tho 😉
First 👍🇮🇪
Having seen the car in the flesh/metal/fibre, can confirm it looks great 🤌🏽
