You can put the net they make for the filter to keep stuff from getting into the filter
Never had a issue with oiled filter & mass flow sensor even close up. Most problems happen is when you clean it and reoil it and put to much oil

How are you protecting the filters from water or water lock
don't go out in the rain simple
Its a myth, to get water lock in that filter it would have to be fully submerged, imagine trying to suck through a straw that is perforated.
Once this filter is fully submerged, your original air intake system will also be inder water, in which instance this has an advantage, because, unlike the factory kit, the airbox won't hold the water extending the exposure to water ingress.
RamAir are quality but K&N are the dog's nuts 👍
2 years ago K&N would have been my first choice. just super impressed with ProRam and their Price:quality

can you try to do a 8 slat grille conversion to 6? that'd be awesome for us guys with the 8 slat grille who don't want to shell out 1500 dollars for another grille
I already make the 6 slat supports. The issue is the slats are different so I would have to analyse which ones could be lost
