I loved the “realistic” rebuilds where you develop the young stars and don’t trade true main components of the team
Jack Flaherty 24 A potential starts off at 84 ovr and hes really easy to trade for
connor tacconelli I love John means he was a 85 cy young winner after one year at the orioles to the World Series with a 1.54 era somehow
connor tacconelli
In my experience he’s always posting a 4.5+ ERA for a while before he blooms to 95’s ish and less than 4 ERA.
Yonny chirinos is good
Rebuild the Astros, but trade those top 3-4 hitters that were involved in sign stealing (Bregman, Altuve, Springer, etc) for A type prospects. A true rebuild.
This was my favorite rebuild of yours so far. The young players and their good stats in year four, made the rebuild fun, despite not winning the world series.
Joe Musgrove always does well in simulations with the pirates and when I oppose him. Cheap pitcher to go after in franchise
Well I mean that’s how a rebuild is, it doesn’t always take one or two seasons and you have to work towards it. Keep up the good work, you’re doing the rebuilds perfectly!

TheAntOrtiz Reeeee
dude much props on not raging after tough losses like most other people
I clicked the A’a and I was like. Oh everyone wants the A’s then I clicked the Rays and it was 100 percent and then I was like. Oh I’m the first to vote. Also angels on the pole next??
Pirates
@@aimlillardslappincontenton9803 yeah the pirates
Robbie Erlin is still a glitch. Even tho he has D potential this was his ERA through the years:
2020: 84 games, 3.69 era
2021: 16 games, 2.25 era
2022: 85 games, 3.62 era
2023 60 games, 2.60 era
My guy, Lucas Giolito, last time i picked him up, through my sim with the reds, he went 23-2 with a 1.24 ERA
AntOrtiz, enjoying this content, your the first one Ive seen to sim via the Show. My one thing that may or may not make things mire interesting us to turn on injuries.
Always Luis Castillo from the Reds for my ace. Always 250+ strikeouts and under 3.5 era
Dont change a thing bro you got the perfect mix of free agents trades and draft right now
My go to pitcher so far is Alex Wood he develops surprisingly good and he has a sub 3 era for 3-4 years
I was rebuilding the Orioles once and signed Jake odorizzi as a veteran fill in to the rotation. In the half season I had him he had a sub 2 era, a whip under 1, and was 2nd in all star votes. Got 2 good under the radar prospects for him and I was expecting 1.
Seth Lugo, I traded for him in a 2021 season and he posted 54 saves 0 blown and a 0.51 era!
We all know why the Astros beat your year 4 team...
My go-to is always Brad Hand as my closer. I've used him for multiple rebuilds and he has never let me down. As for players, my go-to is always Charlie Blackmon. His contract is a bit high but he rakes and always hits over .300 for me, sometimes even over .330 for multiple seasons in a row.
My go to pitcher is Noah Syndergaard, he's fairly easy to acquire, young, easy to use, develops and holds up well and can rack up a cy young or two if you have pieces around him.
I like getting the prospects involved more. Even if you don’t make the playoffs the first couple seasons. It’s fun to watch them develop
I love the realistic parts of this process but I think one thing you should include more is sign and trades with your 2 year club option signings. It happens a lot in real life for prospects.
Maybe do a small bit before the trade deadline and see what the trade block looks like
Go to pitcher is pablo lopez of the marlins, really glitchy for starting as a mid 70 starter, he will give you a solid 2-3.50 era for 5-6 years
Jordan Montgomery is the most underrated franchise pitcher. PICK HIM UP! He develops super quickly and he always winds up having a low ERA
He is good for a couple seasons, then he crashes
In the bullpen Yoan Lopez is a little glitchy, in 3-4 seasons gets up to high 80s. Luke weaver develops well, Jameson Taillon is a beast, Jordan Montgomery is good also. Mike Leake can be glitchy also as a 5th starter or long reliever for 2-3 seasons, he doesn’t decline and will actually go up a bit.
In my franchise I kept Willie Calhoun up until he was 30, he only got up to an 80 ovr. I traded him to the Marlins and then he became a 93 in 2 years and hit 64 HRs
If you're thinking of doing a rebuild challenge series w/ the RUclipsrs, I have a suggestion to make it more "complex"/complicated - a point system
5 Points - Best Record
4 Points - Postseason Appearance (WC not counted),
3 Points - MVP/Cy Young/Hank Aaron award winner
2 Points - Team League Leader in (stat), Award Winner (SS, GG, etc.)
1 Point - Player Led League in (stat)
Hopefully you can take this into consideration. Keep posting the content, boi!
A couple things to note: Sam Huff should be an A potential player, he is the 2nd prospect in the Rangers farm system, and is looking to be ready to go by 2021. I also believe Apostel should be an A potential guy, has great minor league stats and again is looking for the call-up around 2021-2022
I agree I move him up to 90 potential. I am a rangers fan however so I try and keep it fair
Is he a good catcher I heard he’s a very powerful hitter but what about defense
Run Cmc he is quite big for the position coming in at 6’5 240, very good with the bat, kinda raw at the catcher position. I think he will transition into a 1B by the time he’s 29-30. With everything going on and the shortened season and no minor leagues, I’d say 2022 is his new ETA to join the ball club
Also i like to use chris paddack sometimes, he's always really solid.
Keep up the rebuilds I love them
My go to reliever is Seranthony Dominguez. Ik he was a FA in ‘19 but he may not be in here. He’s usually rly cheap and turns out rly well in year 2
Sixto Sanchez is a dominant prospect who becomes a 95 OVR. Also try to find some high BB/9 guys like Erasmo Ramirez or Mike Leake.
My go-to pitcher in Franchise is Ken Giles! He is so good for me every time I pick him up.
giovanny gallegos is a glitch in the game he’s a great closer and he’s pretty easy to get
John means is a great budget pitcher. 26 years old B potential so you can get him for next to no one but had an era under 3.5 for me
Stick with the prospects, love seeing the growth and the dynamic
What I do for my franchises at least on 2015, if I had a team that was deficient somewhere like example, Wandy Rodriguez wasn't any good in the 2015 game for Atlanta but neither was Jair Jurrjens who was a 59 overall free agent But I still had MLB 10 laying around so I wrote down his stats from that game and moved them to 2015 and he became an 85 overall and I was able to replace deadweight on my roster.
Mariners would be a good one. Some good prospects if you’re really looking to completely turn around a franchise
Nice rebuild ! Rangers are an interesting team that needs some work
Future reference for players. Blake Swihart plays LF now but can also play catcher and I believe his rating jumps when moved. Has barely ever played outfield
Good go to pitcher for me is always Mike Leake. Has stats like a 4 or 5 guy but he pitches to like a 3-3.5 ERA and a 1.2 whip, but that may be different on your roster.
The way I see it is there are some franchises where you need to make a lot of trades or signings and some where the pieces may already be in place and the draft just augments the roster
Louis Severino always develops, posts around a 3.3 era and on good years posts a sub 2.6 era, and doesn’t cost much in trades
Love the rangers. They don't have the history or glory of the cowboys but they've always been my favorite local team in Texas
You should show the draft and your thought process through making the pick and evaluating the prospects
One guy I’ve noticed who does quite well in sim is Chad Green from the Yankees
Ryan Yarbrough is usually pretty solid for me
Ethan 25 dudes insane, I got rocked 10-2💀💀
I like the slow burn of a rebuild I think it makes it more enjoyable to watch
Seeing Danny Santana on the bench after what he did for you hurt my heart lol
I remember you did an Indians rebuild last year that was insane try and do more like that
Ella es callaita🎵🎶🤙
Go dodgers!
Griffin canning or john means, canning is an A potential who always turns into my ace, and means always has a 3 to 3.5 era so hes solid.
Lucas Giolito is really good. He does get hurt quite often tho
Pitchers that were good in my rebuilds are John means and Jack Flaherty
You should do a rebuild of guys 25 years and younger to start it's a lot of fun! Robert Stephenson is my go to Franchise SP he always does great for my team.
Been looking at your roster and I’m curious, how do you get some players ratings for certain categories over 99?
Also, I’m bummed, I liked the random free agent signings that eventually develop into rookies of the year. I thought it was a nice touch
I always check out Aaron Civale he’s young and kinda glitchy
Same
My go to pitcher gotta be Julio Urias when you put him as a starter he puts up like a 2.30-3 ERA
Had him with the marlins he was a steal
really like shohei Ohtani as well hes really hit or miss though did a rebuild and he had mid 2-mid 3 ERA then i tried on another team and he had like a solid 5-6 ERA both years i had him I like him for his bat though.
first year he is really easy to trade for.
The thirdbase prospect under josh jung at the beginning is very good for a 3/4th year rookie
You should split your rebuilds into 2 categories: Fantasy and Realistic. Fantasy you can do anything you want, sign anyone and trade all your prospects to be as good as possible within 3 years. Realistic you need to make trades that make sense for both teams, develop your prospect and aim to leave the team with a solid foundation after 3 years and not empty the war chest of assets for a one-year run.
A good pitcher to get is Jordan Yanmanmoto from the Marlins very good numbers with a lot of strike outs
Pretty hard to trade for but Mackenzie gore in year 4 for me went 22-1 with a 1.92 era so if you can get him trade for him in year one before it's impossible. Jasson Dominguez 17 year old Yankees cf is also very good and pretty easy to trade for in year one
Zach Eflin develops really nicely.
Definitely mike clevinger is a go to, he’s nasty and that curveball is awesome
That j Balvin sound track.. lit
Dinelson Lamet from the Padres has some good years for not having to give up much
Shane Bieber is my go to. German Marquez is very good too if you need someone easy to grab
Might be to soon, but gotta see a mackenzie gore actually up in the big leagues
you've already picked them up sometimes but luke weaver and sean manaea are always solid options
I prefer the realistic rebuilds. might have to be different vides and will be longer but much more fun to see the young players from a team become stars. Watching team like the Tigers have all 3 aces come through the system is cool.
Jordan Balazovic he’s glitchy you have to try him out also i love your videos keep grinding 😎😎
It would be awesome if you revisit this rebuild in a couple weeks. This team is STACKED
shhh... don't spoil my possible new series in the future ;)
My go to guy is Ryan Yarbrough. He usually sims good for me.
If you ever do the Mariners. Trade almost everyone lol some of the Starting pitching is nice and young though. Which is nice
go to pitcher: Holder
go to player: Conforto
EDIT- id like to see more big game hunting trades, maybe go for Acuna or Benintendi or something like that. its fun to see prospects come through the ranks but also fun to see big names get moved
Yeah that can be interesting but it's kinda stale if he just trades for Ronald acuna every single time
Here’s the thing if you’re doing prospect rebuilds like these I think you should go more seasons and it would be great but for shorter rebuilds I would like to see you go more all out because it’s not as exciting when we don’t know a lot of the players well👌
Love it bro ❤️
That young boy from the dodgers is a go to pitcher
This year for a pitcher that has been good for me is shohei and paddack (not lowekey huh) and reliever wise it has been aj minter the last two years
Go to pitcher is Corey knebel cheaper than most closers but he puts up solid numbers
Progresses so fast and always has a good season
This is probably asked somewhere, but which rosters are you starting with? I’ve been working on the Rangers myself.
Think you gotta do a part 2 of this one since the team was sooo young
my go to pitchers are john means for the rotation and colome for the bullpen
My go to pitcher is Shane Bieber because he can throw hard and he has good control and he develops very well
Eduardo Rodriguez he’s been solid for me and picks up a lot of wins
In the playoffs you should use your starting pitchers especially during the wild card games
Id rather u try to turn the team as quickly as possible but also try to incorporate the big name prospects of that organization.
Maybe do a more realistic rebuild and a second more fantasy trade/win ASAP rebuild for each team. Twice the videos over the course of the year, satisfy both camps of viewers... plus people like me that enjoy both.
Last year it was Taijuan Walker, this year it’s José urquidy
They’re really sleeping on all these rangers players for the ratings
Dumbass Comments you live up to your name
Minor should be like at least a 89 and odor should have better power, and why does Calhoun not have at a potential and Gallo is not that good in franchise and the most annoying is Santana in my eyes he is at least an 85.and huff doesn't have a potential, why.
Same thing with mariners
TIMF Vibes for sure, I threw 8 k’s in 5 innings with Minor, fastball movement is unbelievable. I’ve hit 3 homers with Willie and 6 extra base hits in 11 games.
TIMF Vibes idk about minor being an 89, Morton has had a much better past two years and is an 88 I believe
When we're 100+ stats attributes put in franchise? And how do u get them because I can't get them
When he’s saying we’re not gonna get knocked out and there’s only three minutes left in the video
Oh no
You really need to do a Pirates rebuild!
Richard Blier dispute his rating can be good bc he has high bb per nines
Chris Paddack always has a 2 era for me
I did a Padres rebuild and he had 2 seasons with like a 4.00 era but by like 2024 he had a 2.15 and about 220 SOs
RP for a longer rebuild is Emmanuel Chase for Cleveland 66 overall A potential 22 super easy to trade
Alex Reyes is now the devil since he had an ERA of 6.66😂
