For those wondering, I'm using the Full Minors 20 v1.5 roster by PSN ID "RidinRosters". I made some tweaks of my own and updated each team's 40-man roster as well. There may be a couple overalls in this video that are different than what they actually are in my current set because I recorded this footage before that roster set was out.
@@lghrns The default roster had a couple prospects per team but nowhere near a full minors. Still were A LOT of fake guys. It really looks like they just wanted some of the top prospects so they could monetize the hell out of their cards in Diamond Dynasty. Ridin's set is still an absolute must for a franchise.
in the past i didnt have a huge problem with the CPU trades, but this year seems so much worse. like trading royce lewis for a c potential 1B from the rockies
Favorite franchise series in RUclips has returned! I absolute despise those “Rebuilding” franchise guys. They trade all the teams top prospect s for like Aaron Judge and it’s ridiculous
I have to agree on odor the guy was hitting under 200 most of last year he’ll occasionally run into one and in today’s baseball that’s just not going To cut it anymore
My ideal minors system would be the Rocket City Trash Pandas in AA and the Nashville Sounds in AAA. (Nashville should be a MLB team but thats another story)

JerseyBorn, your franchise series are how you're supposed to play it. Everyone has their own way that they play on their own, but for content creating this is the way to go. Be in depth as you can be for actual baseball fans and not just fans of The Show. P.S. Love the intro of talking about the "60 minute REBUILDING" videos. Those are trash imo

Theres one intriguing prospect in the Rangers system who SDS seemed to underrated Sam Huff the Rangers are pretty high on him and he is/was their No2 prospect this spring and I think they are confident he will replace Chirinos maybe next season but I think he has like a D potential in this.

I wasn't going after anyone in particular. There are literally dozens of guys on RUclips who make those types of videos. I'm just anti-bad content and fake people, which just so happens to be a solid 90% of sports gaming content on RUclips.
How do you set up your franchises in that way where you are all teams but only control 1. I know you can manually go through every team but is there a less taxing way?
I just don't really care what the projected Opening Day lineup would be for a season that's not gonna happen. I doubt it's drastically different than what mine would be anyways.
JerseyBorn okay sweet! That probably means you did the Yoan Moncada one too? I’m not really sure how to properly do the contracts, would you be able to post your version of ridins roster with the updated contract so me and others could download?
@@kdc99 No I didn't do Moncada because I wasn't sitting with a list of every single imaginable thing to do. I already spent a solid 4 hours editing the rosters to where I want them and restarting the franchise at least 20 times trying to get things how I wanted them. I'm not putting in any more work on this.
Can someone explain to me how I can do 30 team control? I put every team I’m not on all auto and my team on all manual, but the computer is still making dumb trades with each other.
30 team control is, unfortunately, not what it used to be. In previous versions of The Show, when you made a trade you would have to wait 1-2 days for the other team to respond to your offer. Because of that you scroll through each team's trade offers and cancel one if you didn't want it going through. Nowadays you can't do that. Trades are accepted/declined right away when you offer them so there is no pending trades screen. 30 team control just helps me make sure teams aren't screwing themselves in the 74 other ways they tend to do. What I do with my franchise is sim 1 day at a time. Sim a day and check the completed transactions. Did a dumb trade go through? Well reload the save from the previous day and sim the day again. You could, theoretically, also go and trade those players back to their previous teams. I would assume this way messes with player morale quite a bit. Also teams tend to waive/DFA guys when making trades so you'd have to monitor that as well. If I sim a day and no trades go through or I don't mind any of the ones that did, I save the game and repeat the process. I also tinker with the CPU trade frequency slider as the season progresses. I also have 2 save files of the franchise just in case one autosaves for some odd reason, plus it's always good to have a backup save anyways. It's all incredibly tedious and even more so when you consider all the other day-to-day/nit picky stuff I do with my franchises. I wish I didn't have to do this and The Show just had a review all trades feature built into their franchise mode like NBA 2k does. But in all likelihood, that never happens.

I do that method now too, and Andrew Vaughn of the white Sox got traded to the padres for a D potential 2nd baseball 15 times straight. Finally I just said screw it and let the trade happen. Goes through even with the trade frequency at 0

JerseyBorn I thought Mlb the show made sure they did all the minors this year, is the downloadable roster just more accurate?
RB12 the mlb the show “full minors” was barely a full minors it had like 5 extra prospects a team. Ridin’s roster is the best still

This now marks Jersey's second go around with The Nashville Sounds, who was the Oakland A's team in MLB 16 iirc

What sliders are you using? IK many use Armor's sliders from the OS forums, but ive been using Mike Lowe's and theyre REALLY good IMO.
