  • sportfishing for me is not a 100% catch and release. I think it would be a weird sport if you only did catch and release. For me what is importen is to keep a sustainable population of sea trouts and release the wild ones so they can spawn later on year. In this video I manage to get 3 farmed sea trouts perfect for the dinner table.

    Great fishing loved the video. I think I noticed your mainline was fluorocarbon rather than braid. Would share your thinking on that and brand and diameter please...liked and subbed

      Thanks for sub and like! I use 0.12 braid. And flour 0,36 to 0,40 deepending on bait size

    Hi, Nice fishing mate !
    Is there a reason you're fishing with such thin braided line, while we mostly hear to use 0.15 / 0.20. Makes it the line to fluoro knot safe with the difference in diameter?
    How do you recognize farmed fish ?
    Thanks for your help and keep on the good videos, you rock !

    • @daniel.sportfishing
      @daniel.sportfishing  Год назад +1

      Thank you! 🙏 the reason I use thin braided line is because it’s cut the water faster so you have better contact with the bait!

      @@PaulDanciu aorund 80cm flourcarbon I use! I use the uv hook when I feel that they are a little bit picky and need an extra trigger. its not always necessary but sometimes it does the trick!

    Do you ever use a bombarda? Using your friend Robert’s exquisite flies and a bombarda would be a hell of a lot of fun.

    • @daniel.sportfishing
      @daniel.sportfishing  Год назад +1

      Det var väldigt länge sen. Bombarda är nog det jag är sämst på när det kommer till havsöring. Om jag kör fluga så kör jag med flugspö, har tänkt att jag ska testa lite bombarda mer men får se när det blir av

      @steveg8322 Год назад +1

      @@daniel.sportfishing I live in the US and just recently discovered the bombarda casting floats.We use water filled bobbers to deliver a fly or flies in large bodies of water,lake,sea etc.Those bobbers are quite fragile and the need to fill them presents problems.I’ve used bombardas to catch striped bass,trout, and various coarse fish.Anyway I enjoy your videos immensely,keep up the good work 👍
