It's a theory, but I'm willing to bet he remembers each 5 minutes of every single days every since the accident. In a way, he was right when he said his memory was second to none.

And how the description changes from "It was a gift from God, not of this world" to "an artifact filled with malice", which I assume could be a contrast with how Daybit's father saw it vs how Daybit saw it after the incident. So: it's an *Angelic* artifact, attributed to God, and according to Daybit, it's a malicious one, and unless he's being biased because of the incident, does...does that mean that's the circle of a fallen angel? There's still some things we don't know, though. His compatibility with the Alien God's heart makes me think he's also "Alien" currently. It could be that both his father and him were transported to Chaldeas, while only a copy of him got returned to our world, and that David Bluebook is the real Daybit. Marisbury being interested in him and the distance that's billions of lightyears away... And now the Artifact becoming a relevant plotpoint that Daybit has already discerned the usage of... Wait a second... The Artifact. It only activates when nobody died in 20 km for a full day right? Where do you go that allows for those conditions? Antarctica. How did they get a world soul into Chaldeas? They snatched one from billions of light years away. They used the Artifact to make Chaldeas.
@@ChrisMorray and David Bluebook has nothing to do with Daybit Sem Void. They are completely different people, Bluebook is 100 years from the future, he's probably an inhabitant of Chaldeas Earth.

Just like how Olga was sent to Chaldeas by Lev, Daybit was sent to Chaldeas as a child, before Chaldea was even founded.
@@ChrisMorray How would that even happen? CHALDEAS was only built years after the incident with Daybit already happened. Also, Daybit himself played a part in building the planetary model as requested by Marisbury. It was in the video.
So... The artifact's conditions... No deaths for a full day in 20km around it... Sounds like a solid reason to make a research base on Antarctica, right? And if one were to expose the world's soul to it... Would it materialize another world soul? Is that how they made Chaldeas?
I doubt the Department of Lore would allow Marisbury to use it. They seem like the sort who would go ballistic if that ever happens, Lord or not. Daybit also doesn't seem like the kind who would let the shit happen either. It's just as the video said, Daybit's alien perspective probably allowed Marisbury to map out the planet and some parts of the universe into his CHALDEAS.

And yeah... It's Daybit's alien perspective... As an Alien from the Alien world. Who got here due to the Angelic Artifact. And now the Alien world is here in Chaldeas instead of 13.8 billion lightyears away. Hell, even U-Olga Marie could recognize when Daybit summmoned those shadow foreigners that they're so far removed from our world that it their origins aren't even observable yet. She even specified that they came from a place that's more than 14 billion lightyears away.
My understanding of how Daybit’s memory works is that his long-term memory is completely shot, but his short-term memory AKA working memory is still fine. That means that he can progress through the day fine, but he had to learn to be super efficient with how he processes information so that he could retain it. The fact that he was able to become that efficient at information processing and retention is a lot more terrifying than it seems. I can’t imagine what he’d be like if he had the same level of processing ability WITHOUT the five minutes per fay long term memory restriction.
Actually, I don't think Daybit's long term memory has any actual issue either. Humans arguably remember slightly more or even less than that. If I have to put it into words, Daybit probably gained the ability to filter away useless information with absolute precision than regular humans.
