As a nerd of LOTS of things and cultures (including anime and Japanese traditional/modern culture) I believe they've got what it takes to appeal to other anime and Japanese culture nerds! We're actually quite a big fanbase, even lots of kpop and non kpop listeners have an OST of an anime in their playlists so I believe they could really do well by focusing on us as the target market! The thing is, Jpop for a long period of time has been kept more local than international so it's down to the promotion team to really sell F5VE to the west!! They stand out from western artists but in an admirable way so it could work out. Everything is so fun and wholesome! Also so creative! Jpop deserves so much. Love F5VE!!

@@user_sulov_jnsk honestly "kpop style" is a mix of Jpop and Western music styles lol. That's how the kpop industry was thriving, thanks to jpop's idol system and America's concepts and sounds. It feels "unique" because it's a combination of pre existing elements from pre existing music industries that honestly deserve their flowers for kpop's current success. Each to their own about whether Kpop is it's own thing or not, but I'd confidently disagree. Also something important to note is that kpop often feels more "unique" (I'd argue not really, and I'm saying this as a kpop fan myself) is because they usually make use of western music trends that are like 2-3 years outdated. Nowadays majority of kpop groups are just following current Western music trends. I hope this was insightful.
If you wonder this track was produced by AG Cook, aka Charlie XCX biggest hitmaker, and Bloodpop who worked for everyone in the western music industry from Grimes to Beyoncé. So this is how you make a banger.

Wait this song is actually so addictive? The fact that the song is addictive matches the lyrics perfectly, this is actually such a well thought out song.
It has EVERYTHING. A catchy chorus, depth, a whole storyline/conceptual vision, unique freaky visuals (honestly very fitting for this month because it's Halloween soon lol), well constructed verses, a unique instrumental and unique vocal effects!! Also the choreo is simple yet SO FUN!! I honestly believe this could do really well in the West (starting with the USA) because there's a lot of anime and Japanese culture nerds over there. There's a market for this, it just hasn't been thriving yet. Let's hope F5VE can give Jpop some recognition!
