The first thing I thought was,"Phenominal cosmic castle, itty bitty living space." In Robin Williams voice of course. ha Okay several things(what else is new) : There is a bed every where you go because you will be exhausted going from the dining room to the wine cellar, the bedroom to the dining room etc...That said the appering staircase is super cool and the indoor cave and forests are so wonderful. This seems more like the setting for a dlc or questline than a home. I don't think I could live there but I wouldn't mind a visit. haha And I was overjoyed that I got to tour the showcase with my favorite host: Ryan. Glad to have you back and glad you are with your lady at last. Hugs
I use this for my current play through. My character is a Dwemer enthusiast and loves delving into these ruins. I just wish there was a quest to earn the home or something. Or at least to build/refurbish the home. Because realistically it wouldn’t be just set up ready for use when you first find it.
An impressive piece of work; you could fit an entire village of people and 4-5 businesses in there at least with plenty of room left over for an orphanage.
I got this mod for PC a few days ago. After wondering around the place I found an alchemist, janitress and bard. The bard sings a different tune than any of the others in Skyrim. Now I'll see if Lydia and our adopted daughters can move here.
I'm in love with this mod!! This is what I've been wanting from a dwemer ruin home mod!! It's absolutely gorgeous, with a wonderful view of the Reach too! I love all the plants, my inner gardener is super pleased. Plus, it gives it a more lively feel and if there's ever a cave in at least you won't suffocate, starve, or dehydrate! I absolutely love the library! I too wish there had been a purpose to the Hall of Knowledge, like maybe it could've been a cheat for all the spells in Skyrim or something? I do wish that there had been more bookshelves in the library but I guess they are that necessary, there should be enough to fit all the books. About the furniture, I do think you may have been right about it seeming a bit on the smaller side, though that doesn't bother me. The parlour/drawing room would be nice with a few benches along the back wall, but still great overall. I liked the stage for entertainment in the dining room. I loved the layout of the master bedroom, though I'd have to do something about that stone bed lol and that bathroom/grotto... YASSSS! The armoury was nice and if ever I'm too cold, I'll just hang out there ;) The dragon forge was cool and unique! Don't think I've ever seen dragon's breath being used in such a way as to have it heating up the smelter and stuff. I also adored the lab, the alchemy section is where I'd spend most of my time. It was just so tranquil and beautiful! I'd grab a few bottles of wine from my cellar, a couple of sweetrolls, jazbay grapes, and cheese, maybe a book or two and just go chill in the garden! Basically, I give this home mod a 10/10! I'd give it an 11 but it doesn't have a toilet lol
OH HELL YEAH! WELCOME BACK old son.... I think you said it all in this one over the 1/2 Hour showcase. Loved the bedroom, the Hall of Knowledge and of course, THE FORGE! Agree with you the place feels a little emptyish...but I think the furniture size is intentional they're taking Dwemer as "dwarves" literally. Great to have my favourite RUclipsr back.
Hey awesome video congrats on 16K subs and glad to see you back here are some more mods you might like Abandoned House, Ciara - Player Home, Lonely Cottage Full Version, Azurion, Cliffside Home | A Modest Player Home, Everspring Cave Redux, The Manor Of The Pets SE 3.2, Dova Lodge, DreamWeaver (Smuggler's Cove), DreamWeaver (Ports Of Call), Sky Haven Temple - Gardens and Sky Haven Temple- Interior Overhaul And Player Home I really hope you enjoy them.

Welcome back my friend! I hope you are having a fantastic time in Sweden with Chloe! Boy did you pick a zinger for your first video back from break 😆 I gotta say, I was daunted by the prospect of a half hour Dwemer home tour, but I was thoroughly impressed and loved every bit of it! I'm always harping on homes for not having a separation of the functional things such as the forge, alchemy and whatnot and I'm so happy to see that everything has it's own dedicated space. The size is definitely intimidating, but I feel the mod author did an excellent job delivering something truly unique because I feel a lot of the Dwemer homes get a bit repetitive. The alchemist in me literally died when we got to the end and that beautiful garden area was set up for the alchemy, I could make my home just down there! Not to mention the use of plants throughout really brought more life into the otherwise cold and bland dwarven aesthetic. This is one I will definitely download and keep. 12/10 review sir! Happy to have you back!
Go get drunk and go to sleep, he says. Then, Falmer! Not falling for that one. This thing is massive, that’s for sure and there are some really nice aesthetic pieces. The huge fireplace in the “drawing room” looked awesome. Kudos to the MA for a great job!
He is baaack!! Well, I think the mod author did a pretty good job with the lighting as it actually looks warmer then usual - or was that your latern? Overall.... It could use some tweaking and actually even NPCs. Maybe Thorin Oakenshield and his buddies. When you entered the dining hall and mentioned that everything looks so tiny I immediately thought of the scene in Snow White when the dwarves return home and I mean the original German fairy tale in which they say "Wer hat von meinem Tellerchen gegessen? - Wer hat aus meinem Becherchen getrunken." - in the original work the dwarves wonder who is rampaging in their house and ate, drank and used their stuff. The thing is that when the dwarves list all their complaints they use the diminutive, so "Teller" (plate) becomes "Tellerchen", a little plate or "plate-y" to use the diminutive "y" which would be our "chen"-suffix - I know thats not correct but the only way to explain it. (it appears sometimes in English like in "thingy") So, the dwarves say "Who ate from my plate-y?" - "Who drank from by cup-y?" - "Who slept in my bed-y?" because everything in their home is, well, tiny. 😁
You kept saying dwemer ruin, but what I see is the pinnacle of dwemer civilisation. Thank you for all the showcases by the way great help when I'm planning playthrough. This playthrough definetly playing a dwarf
So glad you are back. Missed you lots. I was having withdrawals lol. Anyway, my opinion on the home. It is beautiful, if you like that dwarven theme. I love the large space it has. Makes it look more majestic. I love the amount of armor and weapon displays there are. Especially cause I am a huge collector. It is big like a castle which I like. It also as that cave secluded feel so it is good for role playing. However, I myself would not use this home. It would not make me move from Castle Sjel Blad (which I am waiting for updates for by the way from the mod author). The reason why is because, with all the places to put your stuff, if you wanted to use a particular thing (like the Nightingale Bow for example), you would have to memorize where you put it. And if you didn't remember then you would have to search the whole house for it. And that would take time. I like S.B. castle because it is big, but organized enough to where you would be able to grab whatever you wanted without having to search the whole place for it. And what is the deal dwarves and stone beds. Really? Anyway. I give this a 7.5 out of 10.
Watching this video, and recalling what I played earlier today... there's a lot of changed. Good changes. Amazing changes. I'm only 5 minutes in, and the only things that look remotely the same are the exterior, and the Grand Cavern entry portion, but the newest edition has those cool metal drawbridges. Edit: 10 minute mark. Yeah, a lot's changed in recent updates to this mod. It's much, much more elaborate now, but the Quarters are part of the Great Hall cell now... and said cell is a lot more decorated, with a much nicer dinning are and kitchen, as well as a rather well-appointed split that leads to the player quarters, and what I can only assume to be a the children's area. Edit 2: Right at 17 minutes. This room... well, I'll just say it's a very particular room, with a specific function now. And I love that about it. Edit 3: Last edit. This mod... gotta say, this older version was okay. The current version... if this one was a 'good get', the current is 'why don't I have this already?!' Seriously, the ambiance has improved soooooo much. Plus, actual throne room.
Yeah I know im a year late lol, but just downloaded this on ps4 and its amazing! Ryantium, you should consider doing a video again on this player home if you want to, its a lot different now, a lot has changed and been added. Not sure if thats just because its ps4 and xbox. But its really awesome I absolutely love this player home!
I think the phrase is "Less is more", I would probably wander round this once and never go back, too big and rambling to function for day to day game play imo
Some effort has gone into this fo sho. But where is a gilder green, come on. Only messing. But its too big for me. Sevarin Manor is the perfect size for me. The thing I wanted it for was the racks but it takes too long if you want a quick in & out. I didn't get round the whole place after I see the armoury. An extra ten mannequins & racks in sevarin is all I need.. Great size though for a delves of the stone legion type scenario. But great effort.

Home was kind of pretty but I see no kids bedrooms nothing that would suggest that you could do multiple adoptions here so that was a little disappointing.
After wondering around the house, servants appeared. As far as being able to bring my Skyrim family, Lydia, Lucia and Sophie to live here; I'll just have to see. Hopefully will be able to move half of Solitude into the place.

What’s that map marker at the top left of the screen that’s north of this dwemer castle? It’s outside of the map so it must be an add on world.
Does someone find the key ? And vampire’s lair ?
