Honestly their rapping skills may not be on par with the other groups but they have really iconic raps in my opinion because majority of the time they try to incorporate some type of reference whether it'd be about themselves (Like in Umpah2x they talked about their older songs or Irene's original visual in Psycho 😂)
Anything related to pop culture (for example Michael Jackson in Dumb Dumb era) or just food in general because it ain't Red Velvet without food! 😂😂😂

Also rappers, all of them can be a sub-rappers bcoz they can rap and rap is easy to imitate you know! But in a grp of red velvet they put irene as main-rap and yeri as lead rap bcoz in RV their vocals is low tone registered thats why they have a least in line so in order to have a line .,management put them as rappers also the reason of it bcoz they want a twist grp which not all are just vocals but also 2 of them are rappers...
They are fast learning and born natural talented, if SM give them rap song like NCT song they can kill it.

@@ohh9079 I'm referring to the the quality of the music they produced, their choreo, and their live performances. Their harmonisation, which is really impressive btw, is not as smooth sounding than Mamamoo's. But when it comes to live performance and choreography, sometimes I still wonder how many times does RV has to practice to perfect their craft.
This year red velvet has shown us n to the non fans that they are a quality girl group.. Not just one or two but all members.. Psycho- quality vocals, Joy's sweet voice ost n collabo korean fav, irene vocals n dancing that always overlook, yeri too with her collabo and covers.. Wendy and seulgi no words to describe. top vocals.
Producer like zion.t n woodz got inspiration from seulgi and really love her voice, crush who think of joy's voice for mayday, the ost producer who want only joy to sing the song..

My view as a multifan: I mean in Red Velvet, there's no weak vocalists, weak dancers, weak visuals, weak acting skills, and poor performances. They are more balanced and total package, because they are all-rounders. They might not be that synchronized in dancing, but their harmonization and concepts are too live for. They are also the queen of b-side tracks, and summer queens. Their stage presence is excellent. All their beauty and talents are unique and blended well together. Every member has a useful role, and fair responsibility. They are the most versatile and diverse female kpop group so far. They might not be always on the top and breaks a world's record, but the world knows Red Velvet is that extremely high quality kpop group. Their fandom is also one of the humblest ones. They are loud and wild, but don't create a mess, and really, almost all the fans are down to earth. They avoid fan wars, and just enjoy being a Reveluv. They don't even care about popularity, they are just contented of loving each other and succeeding in life. The fans don't stan only one member, but instead, they stan all the members. No one is left behind. Red Velvet and Reveluvs made me feel confident about who I am, that's why in 2017, I decided to leave other fandoms who are difficult to deal with, and chose which groups are worth to stan for. Although, as a multifan, I still give my support to Blackpink and Twice, 'cause they deserve love. I've been a Once and Blink.

Joy and Seulgi could have bee main vocals if they were in any other group, and i know this is controversial but so could yeri. I think Irene is more suited as a rapper, but if she got more training and more chances to showcase her vocals, maybe her too. The thing with Irene is SM took advantage of her visuals and forgot everything else, such as her amazing tone. She has a very light and relaxing voice which i think is good for indie and r&b. In conclusion, SM, please give Irene a lofi solo

I think that Twice has much better vocalists than Blackpink, but that's not what this video is about..The purpose of this video is to analyze how each group sings together.
I may sound annoying but that still wouldn’t make any sense how BP is better, a vocal ranking as a group isn’t just about how they sound together but about how much skill the groups have. If Twice were to have 4 members then they would beat BP, even with their 9 members they are vocally more capable as a group.

Twice vocal is more on like girly voice. Jihyo and Nayeon can reach high notes effortly. Jeongyeon is stable as fuck together with Jihyo and Nayeon. Mina and Sana definitely has the cutest voice but not strong. Chaeyoung and Dahyun in terms of singing is kinda like sounded the same as the other girls. Momo is the Main Dancer so I have nothing to say about her vocals. Tzuyu is like the other girls. Soft and girly voice but not as strong. Twice underwent into a Vocal Training. So if I going to rank their overall vocals, it's 85/100. Facts only.
So in Blackpink. It is a mixed set up of vocal. Rose is like the high pitched of the group. She can reach hight notes while dancing . The problem with her voice is like she was force to strain her voice too much. And Rose has one of the unique voice in kpop industry. Jennie also is great vocal. Although majority of you are saying that she was just shouting while singing. Nah, I don't agree with that. It's singing. In terms of Jisoo, OMFG!!! Jisoo among the other members has a wide variaty of singing range. Her deep voice is heaven. Her voice suited more on in a ballad genre song. She can reach hight notes effortless too. So if you were saying that Jisoo is not best as twice vocal. Nah, ur wrong. Jisoo is better to the other lead vocalist of Twice. Her voice is colorful with a rough texture. Its just like that deep voice are much underappreciated in kpop industry. Lisa can sing too. Althoughbit is not as powerful. She just proved that she can do anything. She can be a rapper anytime she want. She can dance anywhere she like and sing like a singer.
Blackpink side track showcase their true vocal. Their sidetracks is much better than Twice.
And the fact that they were collaborated with Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and now with Selena Gomez is phenomenal.

With the reasons of curry, I disagree with you. If we were talking about individuals, Twice would be better. Twice has more weak vocalists which would be why BP was ranked higher. BP’s weakest vocalist is Lisa from which I believe took vocal lessons before training. Twice’s weakest vocalists are probably Tzuyu and Momo. It would make sense because Momo was added for her dancing (I think) and Tzuyu for her visuals and popularity.

Sabia Akthar incorrect, it’s true Momo and Mina are amazing dancers. Jihyo also does her best and is a great performer, she’s even a main vocal. Which is also added points. Nayeon received the title with lead dancer as her dancing skills are sharper then the rest of the members excluding Momo ofc’. Sana also dances amazingly, almost seductively. But her only weakness is that she overdances and does some moves too hard. Tzuyu is also an amazing dancer, she definitely puts in that effort. Honestly all of the members are amazing dancers, the weakest dancers would have to be Chae & Dahyun.

Lisa: All the praises are less for her, she is a naturally born dancer.
Rosé : Has the potential to be a main dancer, only disadvantage is that she is only a fluidity based dancer, hence needs to add some sharpness in her movements.
Jennie: Has the potential to be a lead dancer but lacks energy and stamina. Can sometimes over/under dance.
Jisoo: Is stiff, but has gradually improved during the years. It blew me that how much she improved in HYLT era, and yes, she will definitely improve in the coming songs as well.
I feel in twice, Momo, Mina,Jihyo and Sana are the only ones who catch my eyes during the dances. Im surprised how Jihyo and Sana aren't lead dancers, JYP really needs to reconsider. Nayeon is an amazing dancer too but is probably average. Tzuyu tries her best but is at a disadvantage because of how long her limbs are. Yes this is pretty much it.

Wendy is known as "Ost QueenDol" ever since she sang an ost during trainee days, predebut era, she's known as ost queen-idol alongside Taeyeon, IU, Eunji, not a lot of idols are offered to sing official sound tracks of a drama, there are a lot of singers whose main path is for ost, ballads, etcs that's why idols singing for a drama soundtrack is once in a while
Seulgi known as "Ace of Kpop", literally the main dancer flexing untouchable vocals, she's also featured by a lot of solo artists, and composers writing songs with seulgi in mind hoping she'll accept singing their songs
Joy achieved a lot for her osts alone such as platinum, ost staying at the charts up until now (which is not always the case for ost, because idols comeback are peaking, killing all the charts), massive amount of unique listeners on music charts, etc, wc others haven't received yet, she's the first idol singer to receive bonsang nomination without officially debuting as a solo, her ost isn't even the main ost of the drama, and her ost's just a side work, I mean there are other singers whose main paths are official sound tracks and etcs,. but she slayed
Irene also is always offered to be featured by a lot of solo singers especially male singers because her sweet and soft tone that matches well with ballad and slow songs
Yeri's unique voice offered her a lot of projects too, SM recognizing her ability to write and produce songs prove her awesomeness, p.s. one of my fave ost of hers is the official korean soundtrack of the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! Hihiiihi
