  • In this video, JARBLY talks about the struggle that bodybuilders go through to get their bodies. This is a great illustration of a profession that is seemingly looked at as easy to get from afar. People scoff and overlook the hard work, because they immediately think steroids. Where else in your life are you overlooking hard work, because you thought someone just had it easy? Luck is involved in life, but hard work is a factor as well.
    If you can't clean the dishes right, how can you be expected to run a Fortune 500 company right.

    About 10years ago i graduated. Struggled to find a job for 1.5years which led to a huge decline in my mental health. Family struggles on top of that and i was on the edge. I was so done with life, i had the equipment infront of me and had it all set as to how i would depart this world. I was going to write a comprehensive note to all those that ruined my life and simply be gone. This video however, on repeat, stuck in my head. The bit about productivity. Instead of comittimg suicide, i comitted suicide to my former self, and over the next few months / years, a new more resilient me was born. I always come to it and remember where I've come from and to be lenient with myself. The following quotes also helped dig me out from the dark place i was in. Progress not perfection. You only get out what you put in. 2 feet forward approach, commit. Go as far as you can see, when you get there, you will be able to see further. Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has courage to lose sight of the shore.

    I remember seeing this video when I was finishing my 8th grade year and I remember that this was the video that really sparked that drive to be successful. It's been a long ass road and there's been lots of pain that I've been through but now I'm about to finish my freshman year of college and I am so much better and stronger after these short 6 years. Because of this video, I have been learning everyday and I know more about the value of hardwork and pain than any of my peers. I've moved in the direction of fear and pain everyday since the first time I saw this and trust me, one day I won't only be listening to these videos with people preaching how to be successful but I will be one of those people in these videos.

Revisiting material is often very powerful because our perspective changes and the words actually mean deeper and deeper things to us as time goes on and we start understanding ourselves, our life purpose, and our past and present better. Time is truly an illusion and the reason you were listening to it then and now is profound.

    Watched this video for the first time when I was a freshmen in undergrad in 2013. Borderline alcoholic, and almost kicked off the football team, I decided to turn my life around and focus on bettering myself mentally and physically. Fast forward to present time I am soon to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, along with looking and feeling the best I ever have whilst washing the dishes in my house as well as I do anything else! OPTIMIZE YOUR TIME! Keep grinding everyone!

    This changed my life all those years ago. I was a kid when I first found this channel, and so much of this guided me through my teenage years. I can proudly say, I lived these words out and I am the man I needed to become, living the life I’ve earned. Thank you 🙏🏾 my appreciation may never be heard directly, but know you made a difference my friend

    Watching this video made me realize my purpose in life and it also made me realize what all I've been through. I watch this video while I work out because it has pain, the same pain that I feel when I work out and what I went through my life. Success comes from hard work, hard work comes from pain, pain comes from SACRIFICE.
    To be able at any moment - to sacrifice what you are, for what you will become.

    I agree 100% with everything said in this video EXCEPT one thing that he says that is completely wrong and untrue.
    "Successful people do every single task right - where as unsuccessful people do not!"
    That is completely false. NOBODY does everything right and the most successful people in the world have ALL failed. Nobody does everything right.

    • @iamram93
      @iamram93 10 лет назад +5

      You have misunderstood that term he has used. Successful people doing every single task right does not mean they succeeded those tasks. It is the fact they went ahead with that task and may have even failed, but kept moving forward. It is just one stepping stone to success whether that stone makes them fail or not, they step onto the next one. That is what I interpret him saying that "Successful people do every single task right - where as unsuccessful people do not". Unsuccessful people won't even bother with the task if they think they will fail. Successful people will.

    This video is pure GENIUS!
    I'm an "old man"....been training for forty years....made it to the national level of competitive bodybuilding. I STILL, watch this video, and to this day, it never fails to inspire me....far and above any other!
    I do some personal training, and REQUIRE every client to watch this video....and likewise, each one is awed by it.
    Of particular importance is how these principles "can be applied to every facet of life." Most clients have been "governed" by limitations others have imposed on them. Training is an incredible tool in overcoming ALL those obstacles.

    You know he is right. Just because you dont get your results in life everyday don't mean give up. Just like the people in the olympics, they chose to be their by fighting as hard as they can in what they love and getting what the deseve everyday. I beleve it when someone says dont give up because you never know u could see urself on the wall of fame of what you love one day. It just takes time for ur preperations to compleate. Thats why I give it my best everyday that won't ever go away.
