Nice, I just purchased some Accelera phis for my 2006 Mazda 3 for only 55 dollars each. I'm located in The States. Usually I purchase continentals, Michellins or other higher end tires, but since I'm back in school, I decided to purchase these budget tires. I still need to get them installed. I just hope my tire mechanic knows how to drive a standard, since automatics are the majority here. LOL
@@TheBaeSauceShow Automatics are great for stop and go traffic, but they're useless going down steep hills or driving them on windy roads. Even in low gear they pick up speed too quickly. I had my tires installed a couple weeks ago, and I love them. Haven't driven them in the rain yet. Anyways yeah, only about 1-2 percent of vehicles sold in The States are Manual. Around 2/3 of young people actually want to learn how to drive a standard, but they were never taught to drive one. There are a few new companies here that are teaching people how to drive a manual.
Tempted to buy some of these for for focus ST as an alternative to my PS4’s as for some reason I keep getting nails and screws by the tire wall and it’s not cheap at £200 a pop 🙄 sick of having to replace expensive tires… would you recommend just for normal b lane bashing for good grip ?
Hey mate, just come across the 651 Sport Xtra, and was looking for info and found your channel! I'm looking for some semi's for my 125i for my 2nd set of wheels (for summer use). Running PS4/PS5 on my daily wheels. I've not considered Accelera before, TBH I thought they were ditch finders. Would you still recommend them now (2 years later)? I can get a full set for £348! 🤯 Ran Nankang NS2R in the past but they are so noisy. Cheers!
Yes mate I’m still using them now and they have been ok in the wet, i think a lot of people consider the more road tyre they use as ditch finders which i think aren’t great in the wet, however i only use them on the back
@@TheBaeSauceShow thanks for the reply! Yes, TBH I wouldn't have considered Accelera until today, but then I didn't realise they made a semi slick! Cheers mate, subbed 👍
I have a 2003 sti and i want to use this tire as a daily and sometimes on canyon roads. I drive mostly relaxed but sometimes hard. My size is 235/40/18 do you think they will be a good choice?
@@xylemutopia I didn't mate; although I got the price, the supplier couldn't actually source the stock at the time. I will re-visit this summer and try to buy some. Hope you like them when your order arrives.
Thanks for your review.. how the tyres for drag use? Street drag race? I have toyo r888r and have a perfect traction from 0. But r888r make loud noise. Any tyre noise u got from those tyres?
Hi, unfortunately i have never done drag racing but if they stay gripped for drifting then im sure they be ok with drag racing, I haven’t noticed a lot of noise but then again mu car is loud and pretty much stripped out hha
