There are many equalizer apps. As long as the speaker driver itself can handle it, a bit of equalization is never a problem if you are technical enough.
I love that the Sound drum allows me to pull the loudness very high. As long as the recordings are at correct volume, you never need yo go beyond 70 to 80%. But for a bad recording where the mic was placed too far from the person, or the Audio file was edited by an inexperiened person, and resulted in a low loudness audio, Sound Drum easily allows you to fix it without jumping into the equalizer

This sound drum sounds actually like the jbl clip 3 with loud mids and highs but very weak bass. So the speaker sounds very loud and powerful but not pleasant to listen to. So the balanced mids n bass of tribit is much more preferable. Please compare the new tribit xsound 16watt with the sound drum plus 15w.
