Decided for this car to be the first one I want to buy with my own money. Gonna take a while, but I'll be worth it. It's a dream car to me. Gorgeous interior and exterior, B&O audio, head-up, heated and cooled seats, adaptive and stylish LED headlights, night vision, topspeed over 300km/h, sunroof, adaptive cruise control, 360 degree camera,.. and much much more.
This car got it all. It can be your comfortable cruiser, or a car to go on winding roads or leave other sportscars in the dust during a drag race. Perfect machine to me.
CivilAviation1 get the e60, trust me.

I usually don't like Beemers, but The M5 F10 is quite a good looking car I have to admit.

V10 are the best sounding engines. LFA, Carrera GT and e60 M5. Well Viper sucks, but it is american. M5's V10 uhm... goosebumps!

Another solution to brake fade is buying better brake oil(higher evaporating temperature). Way cheaper, and very effective. Ceramics are awesome tho, If I could afford I would buy them.

Been watching this Chanel for a long time and I still have no idea what he says when he explains the 0-60 time. Nortstrum?
As much as I respect the current M-cars for their performance, I kinda lost interested when they started switching from manual gearboxes to DCT, and from N/A to turbos. There is a rawness and sense of driver involvement that you got with say, the E39 or E46 that is lacking from the current M range. Sometimes more is not always better, though I am pleased to see they have gone back to basics (sort of) with the M2.
The original e34 m5 in 3.5 litre form had 315 bhp, the 3.8 litre version had 340 bhp. F10 m5 is very nice but it’s auto only so I would rather have a vxr8 gts. 6.2 litre v8 supercharged and 576 bhp and 545 ibft of torque. Plus a six speed manual gearbox. And for a lot less money.

Every enthusiast would argue that the manual option would be the way to go. Im rather confused if these sedans should be purchased with a manual ( that is an outdated one in BMW's lineup ) they offer for the US market or get the best system (dual clutch auto ) they provide and which was intended and designed to go along with the suspension and the engine? same thing with Porsche- should one get the manual or the PDK ? ive talked to owners and all of em opted for the PDK and when asked why they say the the way the engine climbs the rpms, the suspension and driver dynamics require the PDK to work in symphony. One of em had the 7 speed and said he didn't quite like it as he though he would.
I don't understand that either - manuals have had their time and not more money is being invested in them so they obsolete in comparison to a double clutch box. In an old 300bhp M5 that's ok but in a modern M5 I thinks there is too much power to handle.

The V10 isn't nearly as good of an engine as the new V8, except, and I have to admit that, for the sound.
Erm yes it is...it was naturally aspirated ALONG with having one of the best sounds in history. Slapping two turbos on a V8 and it makes more power? Wow, didn't see that coming :|
Look at what happens if you tune the V10 like Evolve have just with ECU, exhaust etc all the way to supercharging it via G Power? STILL to this day the fastest saloon ever. F10 can't even reach 200mph let alone the G Power's top speed.
Also fake engine noise through the speaker? Cringe. Lack of active seat bolsters? Downgrade.
V10 forever.

Im a BMW fan but i guess you are right when it comes to the E63, however i still preffer the look of the 2012 E63 to the latest one.

Actually the BMW M5 CP and anniversary edition(600HP) is faster. The BMW M5 CP got a faster trap speed than the E63 AMG S model. but the other ones you were talking about are your opinions.

it's pretty much impossible to make a turbo sound like a NA, especially with todays emissions standards on engines. Some manufacturers are turning to sound engineers to try and create intricate exhaust systems that help a turbo sound more unique and less muffled.
this car though does sound a bit weak, especially when you compare it to the E60, which sang when you were caning it

Not for anything, but the whole "American cars cant turn" thing is not true anymore. I'm not an American car fan even though I'm from America, but the corvette grand sport and boss 302 mustang can corner with incredible agility.

Well I think they should noticeably look more expensive. Half the time you will just be cruising around town which is where "flashy-ness" comes in when you can't use all the hp.

Over £100k for an M5?
When you can get F-Types and GTRs for £30k-£40k less, you gotta say no.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great car, but definitely overpriced.

there are 2 things wrong about this car , 1st -it sounds like 2 4 cylilnder engines , it doesnt sound like a v8, when stock, nothing v8 about the sound, 2nd thing is , the turbos are positioned at a hot spot, why? turbo lag ?? i mean cmon , its soo hot it eats oil like mcdonalds making chips worldwide, srsly, and that heat spot, it really destroys the engine ...

It's a shame that the V10 was cancelled. If the E60 wouldn't have been the ugliest BMW of all time it would have sold better and the F10 would have a V10 as well

i doubt it because my e92 has zero signs of condensation. also there are usually ducts for moisture to escape out of (under the hood) to prevent fogging of the lenses from happening

100k for an m5 or 65k for a jaguar xfr and I have had both jag is so much better. You can also get an xfrs which is a beast for 80k so m5 is overpriced by far
