@@royalyoung9170 Yeah. Apparently he (and Hai Dudu Two, who also hosted a ton of Doom tracks) also had tracks from Sony games on their channel, and their legal department decided to call in a mass copy strike and nuke 'em because reasons.
This version of At Doom's Gate was used in a gameplay preview after the Doom Slayer picks up the chainsaw, and was made during a point in development where id Software didn’t want Mick Gordon to use guitars for the soundtrack before they ultimately caved in (and thank god for them caving in, because we wouldn't have gotten Rip & Tear or BFG Division if they hadn't). I do wish this version of the song showed up at least somewhere in the final game though, it kicks ass.
Yeah honestly. Tbh I would have liked no guitar and chainsaw to be the lead of every track. It would give DOOM music so much flavour. It's also so fitting for DOOM
Probably because it is scored by Mick. I doubt that they will want much of anything in their games to remind them of their utter EPIC failure and mistreatment of him. Probably also some legal concerns of that as well.
@@DRKLCNS1 nah "hellwalker" is also scored by Mick and that track is also fire, this one just dont have much metal element to it and that's probably why he scrapped it

Is this a fan version or actually written by Mick Gordon? This never plays in the game and I've scoured the official OST to look for this one but it's not there. Even though everything about this track is trademark Mick

It's kind of like a slower, more 'modern' take on E1M1. I don't think a lot of fans like this version of the song, so for a better modern take on E1M1, have a listen to this. ruclips.net/video/q657rEkgfKs/видео.html
This version was made for doom 2016 by Mick Gordon. He didn't really want to copy any of the songs or remaster them exactly, so instead he used them as a sort of inspiration as to where to take the music. In some songs you can hear beats from the original doom games
This version of At DOOM’s Gate is extremely hard to find now due to the channel of the og video being terminated.
