What impresses me about Paul, at this time in his life, is the 'maturity' of his songs and composition. As you describe and demonstrate most eloquently. Always keen to watch your channel as you always show your passion for guitar and musical style. Power to your elbow.
@@2424rocket Do Junk and Maybe I'm Amazed sound like one big song? Nope. But, that's also some weird, illogical strawman interpolation you decided to make that has nothing to do with what I said, except the words "one long song."
Could you please do something by Tom Waits on acoustic? There is a disturbing lack of tutorials for his work on RUclips. I thought you did a great job with Jockey Full of Bourbon!!
That lovely Martin and all things woodly lose water, oils and other vibration dampening 'volatiles' over time. Some guitar makers science up some torrefaction, cooking tonewood in an oxygen-free environment, to reproduce this effect quickly.
Please have alook at a solo guitar version of So Sad from George's Dark Horse album Adrian. I'm quite good at matching the 12-string(?) arpeggiation but I'd love a clarification of those annoying time signature changes that make the choruses so damn hard to play along with! If you want to get jazzy give us Far East Man 🙃.
Definitely. Was written during this period. Its on the Esher demos recorded at George's house when they got back from India. Adrian's Martin has a very similar tone to Paul's.
Watch a lot of your videos and although they’re enjoyable there’s too much explanation and not enough playing. You should literally play a whole section and then go back and break it down. Too much talk and not enough playing… Play a few bars before you break it down.
He does a complete play through at the beginning. And then having broken down a section puts it all back together again afterwards. The entitlement is strong with this one.
Well this is a brilliant choice-always loved this tune.
You never know what he’s going to come up with from week to week. One reason we love the channel!

Lovely!! Your musical tastes and knowledge are so wonderfully eclectic... thank you ❤
This flawless album feels like one long song.
Really? You mean junk and Maybe I’m Amazed sound like it’s one big song?
I don’t think so.

Beautiful! Thanks for another great post Adrian.
your song choices are immaculate!
Love this album by Paul. So inventive in his approach. Looking forward to giving this one a go!✌️
Always loved that song. Such great guitar work .
Have been looking for a challenge to lift my playing game...this is it. Thank you!
Thanks, Adrian!
Thank you Adrian all your tuition lessons are really good and always accurate Thank you, they help enormously .

I second that.
'Disturbing' is over the top

I’ve been wanting to learn this for ages. Well done!
Thank You, very detailed lesson again!

Yes, a great album the year I graduated high school. I've always loved it.
Brilliant, as usual! Thanks.
Wow , love this. Great album from Macca.......
Spaghetti by The Wave Pictures, if you're up for it. Probably too obscure but great song.
Parabéns pelo trabalho... valeu demais Man 😎
An old favorite for sure. Lovely D28. Congrats.
A beautiful song that many people do not know. Well done for working it out and thanks so much for sharing and teaching it to us, really appreciated.
how do you rule out D-35?
Another favorite!!!
Great album.
More Beatles, More Paul!!!
Ram is Paul at his zenith. Nothing else in his catalogue compares.Simply above the rest.
Plenty of other good stuff, but you are right. Ram is the best.
Nice new D35 just got one myself 5 days ago
Opps that's a D28
Ab Siouxsie and The Banshees. Can you please do whatever McGeoch era songs you haven’t done already!
Yes, it's been a while, maybe I'll do more McGeoch soon.
@@acpg excuse my rudeness from last night. Great vid as per usual.
😊👍🤙👌👏👏👏👏💪.....left handed, Sir Paul
I believe this might have originally been written a couple off years earlier as a Beatles song but was either not finished at the time or rejected.
CAn you please do a Lemon Twigs lesson? Any rocker by them would be an utter treat to learn from ya
Some of us might also be interested in what mic you're using when you do these acoustic lessons. Just saying
Adrian top guy
He is a champion, love the channel.

How have you not done 2CV by Lloyd Cole and the commotions?
It’s an obvious song for this channel.
Yes, I've definitely considered that one before, then forgot all about it. Maybe I should just do it...
@@acpg you should just do it. Great song. 😁
