Every plugin i buy is part if a carefully considered and planned workflow that never proceeds beyond the conceptual stage because i spend far to much time considering which plugins to buy.
I've maybe too many for what I need, but it's also a source of joy. I know I "waste" a lot of time doing unimportant stuff too, but I find it enjoyable. It keeps me out of trouble. 😈
Im very sorry if you already have done this but: Breakdown of the track "hallucinations" would be amazing this track is just perfection. BTW continue with this same dedication for the next 5-7 years and you'll be big "I was here :D"
Thanks man, I have not done a walkthrough of an entire production in a while cus I feel like that would be too long of a video... like I can probably speak for 10 hours on that track lol
I love digital dust😅. And now I started to remove so many plugins that I don’t use and seriously Bitwig has become so powerful that I rarely find a plugin that I want to buy.
As a former plugin junkie ( including illegal downloads ) I strongly suggest to act carefully. It can deviate you from your musical progress as well as your wallet. One hint: Do not sleep on small or independent developers. There can be gems with ridicilous prices.
true, for me demos are after I familiarize myself through tutorials & such so I can be as effeicient as possible in testing the plugin in that case... but it is still annoying
Hi. It's a pity I can't listen to your presets or samples before purchasing. I would like to buy it but I would like to know what I am buying. Could you make a link to listen to the content of wavetables, presets or samples? Regards
most of my packs have demo videos on my youtube page. If you search for the preset pack on my page you will find them. Some older packs also have some demos on my soundcloud page. unfortunately i can't put them directly on gumroad...
@@Projektor_music I was doing that with SSL plugins, I've got most now. I have a Harrison compressor I haven't even installed yet. I was only interested in the SSL plugin in the bundle.
@@Projektor_music 😂 hey man in all seriousness thank you so much for your content. you keep me motivated to try new stuff and learn more about producing. i just do it for myself and im not that good at it but its fun. 👍
I follow only specific brands and do select those that I really like
My philosophy seems to be to waste all my money on them and let 90% of them gather dust.
This is the way
Same.😜
yeah personally I try to avoid it at all costs but it does happen from time to time...
Real
Same... I have so many plugins that I haven't opened in the longest, don't even remember I own them half the time.
What I Consider When Buying Plugins:
Can it make wavetables?
- Yes

I can imagine lol...

Plug-in addiction is still cheaper than booze, ciggies, coke, classic cars etc. 😅
@@BappinProductions true, true & maybe even healtier
Ironically the Supercharger compressor shown in your screenshot is a free plugin and a great versatile compressor.
yeah I have very few plugins in that very wide shape I needed for the thumbnail, I did not remember this plugins was free though...

True on both points, for a good example of the second, see my last video! :)
Some plugins give a 30 minute demo time like I can decide if it's worthy to buy just in 30 minutes

The stock plugins in your daw are usually enough.
I wouldn't say that, they are definitly useful but plugins definitly have a purpose...
what software do you use?
edit: nevermind, just found out!

best plugins are from unison audio 😂
stay away from them my friend :)
You mean "Useless audio"?
@@DaddaPsy they have the pro level chords
I think nearly everything I've bought, I've bought on sale. I think Serum is the only thing I've paid the full amount for.
you can definitly make use of sales, but don't let that fool you into just buying something just because it's on sale now...

I have to add. I was a heroin addict, all the money was going on smack. It goes on plugins now. That's how I justify it.
@@suffist well yeah then it's better to spend on plugins ahah
Best way to stop buying plugins is got get into hardware instead 😂
yeah right cus there is no money wasting there :)
My process is: Projektor is using it.. Add to cart. done 😊
I'm the same with Dash Glitch. ha ha
