i assure you that you dont have everything else up to speed if you are unsure of what palm muting is xD
its when you mute the strings with the palm of your picking hand

just keep trying it man!
start slow until you have it perfect and speed it up a lil bit until you have that perfect...and so on until youre up to speed

@UltimateRime id say speed picking is more like drawing a small line really fast . its in the wrist not the elbow and its good to practice on different strings bc there is a huge difference between each string

in this video, its just my cameras mic...in my old videos i used my line 6 amp head to plug into the mic on my computer...now i use an audio interface to send the signal and virtual amps to get the sound i now have
its whatever your more comfortable with really...id say use your pinky bc a lot of ppl dont ever try to use their pinky....using it makes it get better i promise

Definitely boss, I've had my Fender for a while and need to get the pedals before it'll sound right but need to learn to play. I think this will be a goal, to learn to play this song start to finish at full speed in front of a fellow BFMV fan will be the mission.

I don’t understand how come some people play the guitar upside down like the bottom string High e some people call it the sixth string, when in fact, the strip six string is the one closest to you low E
any tips on doing the trill? i can't do hammer on the 5th fret hard enough cause my pinky just isn't strong enough.

it sounds more accurate when you trill on the 2ed and 3 fret instead of 2 and 5 just sounds more like the song

I just got an electric guitar, will probably be trying this for weeks but hey by the time I can do it I can play an awesome song and my pinkie strength and technique will have improved so I'm looking forward to the next couple of weeks :p

how do you pick the 3 strings without the pick catching (feels like if I strum harder it will break something)??
During the part where the other guitarist screams "Hand of blood!" Couldn't you also just go an octave lower on the "a" string (5th string)? So it's the shape of a power chord but without hitting the 4th string.

how do u pick a single string quickly, cos when I do, it is alot slower playing the string upwards.
Mystic Lugia just practice it slow and you'll eventually get over that awkward feeling. it'll become natural
That’s because you need to practice. Choke up on the pick more and use more even strokes, don’t pick hard.
