I received and installed mine yesterday. It was easy, only because I observed Sask Ryker in this video painfully go through the trial and error of the install, so thank you for your video! The key takeaway is you need to position the brake out of the way, then install the footboard, then remove the foot board from the hardware completely removing the hex nut where you adjust the angle, adjust the brake to the preferred position then reinstall the footboard to the already installed hardware. You will not be able to adjust the brake while these footboards are installed but it's easy to repeat the process as needed. I also positioned the footboards on a more natural angle to the way my feet rest, rather than flat. Note: You will only fit the front half of your foot on these footboards (balls of your feet) so if you are looking for your entire foot to rest from toes to heel then these are not for you. Found them quite comfy and an improvement over the OEM foot pegs that come with the Ryker. And great price from slingmods.

Well you did say to RTFM..... and yet you didn't so I guess it serves you right. Teh struggle was real, but not required but rather self induced.

I watched this just to confirm my own experience was not an isolated incident. The right pedal should have a cut-out to allow the brake pedal to clear for easier adjustment. Also, aligning the bolt through the right pedal without cross-threading required sacrificing a chicken on the gas tank.

I tried to this weekend and ran out of time. I am going to do a rain dance when I attempt it again to see if it will go in.

That was hard to watch. I can't imagine why people want their brake so high. I have mine set below the peg so I don't even need to raise my foot. Just roll my toes down and there it is. Much safer.
