Back at stranger he did a live Ave Maria and A live Fly Away and that songs on the billboard 100 at no. 20th place. At stranger, new wave in Sochi Russia Dimash won that contest years before and they called him back every year to sing. This year to judge the young singers and to sing three of his new songs collaborating with billionaire composer producer Igor Kurtoy. I think Dimash is like almost on the verge of coming to record in America. He’s had ptomotorsand a producer sing Covid hit. Dimash is a independent artist. The water screens in this video are real as this is how he held that last note in stranger for 2 second. He did another one in sinfu passion for 24 secs. I’m so glad you’re back to Dimash. I will say, I didn’t think about him getting better...he was perfection to me. Lol. He still it,but he does keep growing and maturing! The future is bright! Love him inside and out! I didn't know about dimash until I heard a song he did singing my heart will go on by Celine and at the time I was listening to a singer marcilto pomoy who is also great and they said who sang it better him or dimash so since that 2/1/2 yrs later I fell in love with dimash there hasn't been one day I haven't listened to him I dnt care if it's the same song over and over he is simply the best male vocalist I've ever heard and he is the nicest person who actually cares about his dears and family I'm 50 he's definitely on my bucket list of who I'd like to see in concert
No, no, no, not the Slavic Bazaar! 🥺 Watch “S.O.S.” from the Singer program!! 😳 It’s the performance that shot him to stardom in China, as well as earned him from fans (if not stardom) in the U.S. and Europe. I’m kidding a bit because this is a well-known difference of opinion among the Dears as to which performance is better. Welcome to the world of Dimash. This is not his early stuff! Dimash started as a young boy, but he became famous in 2017, at 22, when he participated as a wild card and the only non Chinese singer on the show I Am Singer. I suggest that you start with these performances on that show, SOS was the first song he sang, and it catapulted him to instant fame. He learned his songs that were in English and Mandarin without knowing either language. He also sang in Italian. Dimash came in second. He returned as a guest in 2018, and did a cover of Lionel Ritchie's Hello, which is amazing. It is highly recommended that you look up the backstories of many of his songs because even with English subs, if you don't know the story , you will miss the full emotion that he is portraying. Also, his Kazakh songs are brilliant and stunning. I recommend Samaultau ( the Tokyo Jazz version), Adia+ Daididau ( you will see 100 Kazakh men plus Dimash playing the dombra), Keli Meken, Dasaraz, to start. He also does some wonderful duets, for example, Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance , with Li Yugang. Actually there are RUclips videos of Dimash performing back when he was in his mid-teens. You might be interested in checking those out. However usually when we Dears talk about his earlier music we are mostly referring to his performances from the Chinese competition show called I Am a Singer. This is the show that launched him overnight into relative stardom. The show it when she competed was in 2017 when he was 22 years old. He was the youngest competitor and placed second due to the show's restrictions on a non-chinese competitor winning the show. I would actually suggest his latest performance of SOS from Slavic Bazaar 2021.

No not screaming as for his progression. I started sos at the China show in I am a singer. Of course when he got thru’ I knew it was a “10” and an excellent performer. But I didn’t have information.I had to get information. This was not self taught. I got hints of classical training be cause of his vibrato forceful chest voice. I didn’t have enough music in my learning to identify what he was doing. I recognized falsetto but not all of it because he was so good at the interval jumps that I was unlearned. It was the first show of the season, the first song. He was the youngest singer ever at 22. And a surprise dark horse thrown in to throw the other professional singers off. So, I went to wikipedia and for an hour read his accolades. Some of it later on I found was true but not all. Going back to watch it all again and because of the direction he took after the show which was go on a solo concert tour. Back to the show. After reading his bio on Wikipedia I knew that he did everything himself related to the performance or collabed with individuals too get what he wanted. Dimash was not singing a simple cover of a French song he liked. He was 22 and had been singing the song since he was fifteen. Everybody associated with the song had died or was killed tragically. The song had depression and sadness of someone who was not comfortable in his own skin. That’s what the song says. All the singers were professionals with their own fans. This was no America’s got talent. He had almost 20 years of experience and education, his mother a professional opera singer his father a pop singer and producer. He started on stage at 2 yrs old in a small part. He was singing on stage at 5 yrs old ad at the same age won his first piano contest too.his grandparents raised him which is custom in his country for the eldest child. She dis covered he had perfect pitch at five and put him in the music academy at the university. He’s done the lighting, collabed with the sound engineer what to do with hiis voice throughout the whole song, he has an ear for music and because of musically training he can write music too so he’s done all the instrument parts backup vocals te read as issucabstage performer because he had a master class in broadway stage production. Dimash acted in three tv shows in his country, Russia and China. A billion people watched SOS on tv. The next morning two big guys were outside his door. He got scared. But they told him they were his bodyguards as people had come to see him and he had to be protected. His album went platinum in 37 second and did it again in a few more. Dimash is an humble person. I love everything Dimash does. SOS from Slavic Bazaar is absolutely mandatory. There is no one on earth that could sing SOS like he does and similarily a few other's I can think of. After that needs to be any song that Igor Krutoy has written for Dimash as they are the golden team. Igor composes for Dimash's special vocals and to say their songs together are special is quite the understatement. As an example your first reaction video was to 'Stranger' and that was an Igor Krutoy composition. It was so complex and undeniable that only Dimash could sing it like this with so many different voices. I look forward to your next reaction. Take care until then.
That's the true beauty of Dimash you never know what he is going to do next which makes being a Dear a very special journey the majority of other artist have a particular style/way of singing some are like the same tune just different lyrics (if that makes sense) but with Dimash every song even newer versions of the same song are done differently and that's what makes this journey exciting

Another great reaction. I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my RUclips recommendations for more than a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation" and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera, as well as vocal students, and professional singers. I just came across your channel (and subscribed), and like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, his delivery, as well as his stage presence. You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of his talent and vocal ability. I am looking forward to your next reaction. By the way, some Dimash fans are almost cultic to the point of fanaticism and they get outright defensive and combative over any perceived criticism of their "object of worship." Quite sad really because I am fairly certain that Dimash himself would handle criticism with much more grace and kindness. They would fare well to keep in mind that Dimash is just a man, not God. I am simply an admirer of good music and talent, regardless of genre, and do not count myself among the Dimash fanatics, but I am utterly amazed by him. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and comes from a very musical family. He started singing and piano lessons at the age of five when he was found to have perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master’s class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition; his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music". He graduated with Honours, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career. Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim 3 hours every day to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He was even offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. During his live concerts, he usually performs for more than two hours and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles. His range is over 7 octaves (A1-D8), according to some analysts, spanning across all four registers. As many probably know, the four registers, from lowest to highest are: vocal fry (pulse), modal voice, falsetto, and flageolet (whistle tone), and Dimash seems to effortlessly navigate between them, often within a single breath and without a break in between. Dimash has even hit a D8 for ~5 seconds with vibrato, the highest note ever performed during any live performance. He sings in multiple musical genres. His main genre is classical crossover, but he also sings classical music (bel canto), pop, and world music. He uses musical elements, vocal styles and techniques of many other genres, including jazz, rock (e.g. screams), RnB, musical theater, even rap, as well as Tribal and Middle Eastern styles.
Dimash is most definitely a gift to us. His voice, his musicality (if I recall correctly, he played all the instruments in the backing track here) his flair for interpretation, his old soul, and his gentle spirit. They all tie together to make him a once-in-a-generation artist that will be loved and discussed for centuries to come. Speaking of interpretation, I never realized until now that each scene is one of helplessness, distance, and isolation. He really does think through every tiny detail of his performances and MVs.

I didn't know about dimash until I heard a song he did singing my heart will go on by Celine and at the time I was listening to a singer marcilto pomoy who is also great and they said who sang it better him or dimash so since that 2/1/2 yrs later I fell in love with dimash there hasn't been one day I haven't listened to him I dnt care if it's the same song over and over he is simply the best male vocalist I've ever heard and he is the nicest person who actually cares about his dears and family I'm 50 he's definitely on my bucket list of who I'd like to see in concert

No, no, no, not the Slavic Bazaar! 🥺 Watch “S.O.S.” from the Singer program!! 😳 It’s the performance that shot him to stardom in China, as well as earned him from fans (if not stardom) in the U.S. and Europe. I’m kidding a bit because this is a well-known difference of opinion among the Dears as to which performance is better. Personally, I like both but have a great fondness for the Singer version since that was my introduction to Dimash. Whichever one you choose you will love it! A Florida Dear.

Welcome to the world of Dimash. This is not his early stuff! Dimash started as a young boy, but he became famous in 2017, at 22, when he participated as a wild card and the only non Chinese singer on the show I Am Singer. I suggest that you start with these performances on that show, SOS was the first song he sang, and it catapulted him to instant fame. He learned his songs that were in English and Mandarin without knowing either language. He also sang in Italian. Dimash came in second. He returned as a guest in 2018, and did a cover of Lionel Ritchie's Hello, which is amazing. It is highly recommended that you look up the backstories of many of his songs because even with English subs, if you don't know the story , you will miss the full emotion that he is portraying. Also, his Kazakh songs are brilliant and stunning. I recommend Samaultau ( the Tokyo Jazz version), Adia+ Daididau ( you will see 100 Kazakh men plus Dimash playing the dombra), Keli Meken, Dasaraz, to start. He also does some wonderful duets, for example, Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance , with Li Yugang. I subscribed to watch more of your reactions to Dimash, its wonderful to see such appreciation for the best singer in the world.

Actually there are RUclips videos of Dimash performing back when he was in his mid-teens. You might be interested in checking those out.
However usually when we Dears talk about his earlier music we are mostly referring to his performances from the Chinese competition show called I Am a Singer. This is the show that launched him overnight into relative stardom. The show it when she competed was in 2017 when he was 22 years old. He was the youngest competitor and placed second due to the show's restrictions on a non-chinese competitor winning the show.
I would actually suggest his latest performance of SOS from Slavic Bazaar 2021.

He used to sing Screaming at the end of his concerts, when he jumped off the stage and went into the audience mixing with his dears, full of joy and energy. Screaming is cool mostly since he’s doing his own background and instruments but Screaming idol hits is a live version and worth another listen
No not screaming as for his progression. I started sos at the China show in I am a singer. Of course when he got thru’ I knew it was a “10” and an excellent performer. But I didn’t have information.I had to get information. This was not self taught. I got hints of classical training be cause of his vibrato forceful chest voice. I didn’t have enough music in my learning to identify what he was doing. I recognized falsetto but not all of it because he was so good at the interval jumps that I was unlearned. It was the first show of the season, the first song. He was the youngest singer ever at 22. And a surprise dark horse thrown in to throw the other professional singers off. So, I went to wikipedia and for an hour read his accolades. Some of it later on I found was true but not all. Going back to watch it all again and because of the direction he took after the show which was go on a solo concert tour. Back to the show. After reading his bio on Wikipedia I knew that he did everything himself related to the performance or collabed with individuals too get what he wanted. Dimash was not singing a simple cover of a French song he liked. He was 22 and had been singing the song since he was fifteen. Everybody associated with the song had died or was killed tragically. The song had depression and sadness of someone who was not comfortable in his own skin. That’s what the song says. All the singers were professionals with their own fans. This was no America’s got talent. He had almost 20 years of experience and education, his mother a professional opera singer his father a pop singer and producer. He started on stage at 2 yrs old in a small part. He was singing on stage at 5 yrs old ad at the same age won his first piano contest too.his grandparents raised him which is custom in his country for the eldest child. She dis covered he had perfect pitch at five and put him in the music academy at the university. He sings I 12 languages and played8 instruments he had two masters in classical and contemporary music. All of this was in one person on that China show. Music was not forced on Dimash but rather he was lead and had taken all the opportunities as a child prodigy, but not just in music but in everything he touched. Dimash has a red belt in taekwando and is a high fashion model for Sportsman. When you watch any of the SOS’s remember all of this. He’s done the lighting, collabed with the sound engineer what to do with hiis voice throughout the whole song, he has an ear for music and because of musically training he can write music too so he’s done all the instrument parts backup vocals te read as issucabstage performer because he had a master class in broadway stage production. Dimash acted in three tv shows in his country, Russia and China. A billion people watched SOS on tv. The next morning two big guys were outside his door. He got scared. But they told him they were his bodyguards as people had come to see him and he had to be protected. His album went platinum in 37 second and did it again in a few more. Dimash is an humble person. At the end of his shows he thanks his musicians every time

This isn't his early music this is 2019, try earlier ones then, he became professional in 2010 at 16, then come right up to date as his voice has matured and is mind blowingly incredible now. In this music video for Screaming he sings, does backing vocals, stunts, plays piano and drums. Why employ others when you can do it all yourself. You haven't seen anything yet

I love everything Dimash does. SOS from Slavic Bazaar is absolutely mandatory. There is no one on earth that could sing SOS like he does and similarily a few other's I can think of. After that needs to be any song that Igor Krutoy has written for Dimash as they are the golden team. Igor composes for Dimash's special vocals and to say their songs together are special is quite the understatement. As an example your first reaction video was to 'Stranger' and that was an Igor Krutoy composition. It was so complex and undeniable that only Dimash could sing it like this with so many different voices.

Another great reaction. I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my RUclips recommendations for more than a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation" and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera, as well as vocal students, and professional singers. I just came across your channel (and subscribed), and like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, his delivery, as well as his stage presence.
You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of his talent and vocal ability. I am looking forward to your next reaction. By the way, some Dimash fans are almost cultic to the point of fanaticism and they get outright defensive and combative over any perceived criticism of their "object of worship." Quite sad really because I am fairly certain that Dimash himself would handle criticism with much more grace and kindness. They would fare well to keep in mind that Dimash is just a man, not God. I am simply an admirer of good music and talent, regardless of genre, and do not count myself among the Dimash fanatics, but I am utterly amazed by him.
Dimash is from Kazakhstan and comes from a very musical family. He started singing and piano lessons at the age of five when he was found to have perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master’s class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition; his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music". He graduated with Honours, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career.
Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim 3 hours every day to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He was even offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far.
He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. During his live concerts, he usually performs for more than two hours and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles.
His range is over 7 octaves (A1-D8), according to some analysts, spanning across all four registers. As many probably know, the four registers, from lowest to highest are: vocal fry (pulse), modal voice, falsetto, and flageolet (whistle tone), and Dimash seems to effortlessly navigate between them, often within a single breath and without a break in between. Dimash has even hit a D8 for ~5 seconds with vibrato, the highest note ever performed during any live performance. He sings in multiple musical genres. His main genre is classical crossover, but he also sings classical music (bel canto), pop, and world music. He uses musical elements, vocal styles and techniques of many other genres, including jazz, rock (e.g. screams), RnB, musical theater, even rap, as well as Tribal and Middle Eastern styles.

Dimash is most definitely a gift to us. His voice, his musicality (if I recall correctly, he played all the instruments in the backing track here) his flair for interpretation, his old soul, and his gentle spirit. They all tie together to make him a once-in-a-generation artist that will be loved and discussed for centuries to come.
Speaking of interpretation, I never realized until now that each scene is one of helplessness, distance, and isolation. He really does think through every tiny detail of his performances and MVs.

This earliest version of Screaming was beautiful but the later versions: the one at Idol Hits and the recent 2021 version are more interesting since they include a rap section.

The MV was uploaded in 2018, about an year after he participated in the Chinese competition "Singer", which was the breakthrough of his international career.
