    I was lucky enough to witness first hand a time differential attack from the famous duo of Shoyo Hinata and King Kageyama of the Karasuno Volleyball Club. I didnt really see it because I had to blink but i heard the smack of the ball... Legendary

    hey coach I got my provincial tournament coming up in about 2-3 weeks and I am wondering what vertical jump exercises I should be doing to PEAK for an event. if you haven't already, can I suggest you make a video about it???       Noobkesan idk why your coach put you as a middle if you are a lefty. Lefties usually play oppo since it is a lot harder have hitting range as an OH/MB (swinging down line on the left side for example)

      its the same as normal spiking like a person would with their right hand, the setter is the one who needs to udjust a bit more

      It's cause of inexperience not height everyone finds it difficult at first i too being a beginner struggle with it at the same height and age as you but it gets better

      switch to opposite now, you have no future in the middle. :( at lower levels you can run a 1- 1/2 with your same approach as left side.

    Man, I really want to get good at volleyball. I just recently started playing and it's fun, but I need training. I practice against the wall, but I still need to train with people. I wish there was a place near me for adult lessons. The only classes I can find are for teenage girls.

    Coach John 6.5ft tall I have problems with me spiking the ball on time because I wine my hand before hitting the ball and at process of winning the ball will drop too low for me and I will end up hitting the net or outside this has been my challenge but finding it very difficult to stop the winning because I believe my power lies in the winning I don't know what to do to stop get on track

    As a Motivation: I'm 165cm or 5foot 6, so I'm not that tall and with my weight at 73kg(muscular) I'm rather heavy and unathletic and yet I can spike. Don't let anyone discourage you! :)

    if your blocker is fronting you, your shot should be left or right (cut back or cut away), not straight ahead.

      +Amri Ramali They are play calls specifically for the middle. A One is a quick set right next to the setter, either in front or behind. A two is a middle set high like you were setting an outside hitter, and a Three is a shoot, the timing of a One with more distance.

      Amri Ramali a 3 is 99% of the time in front of the setter, although sometimes the middle goes far behind the setter. In this scenario, it is more often a Slide than a 3 which is a one-footed spike. Look Up slide attack

    At the international level, every set is a quick set, especially when you hitter can all reach 12ft. 🤣 Even the outside sets. Not just the middle.
    Anybody who watched the Olympic Games should know that.

      Yes :) In the Philippines we have Middle Blockers about that height. I'm only 5'4" and I play Middle, and I don't even jump that high but I can reach the top of the net tho.

      Yes, the higher you jump the better you will be in any position in volleyball.

      Castled Keyboard it should just take a different approach and a different set for you. Being leftie is actually really useful in volleyball, so once your teammate get used to you, the quick should be a pretty useful weapon against opponents.
