Thanks for the review. I will make sure to steer clear of this one. Wow, it even has 4.5 stars on Amazon, which would make you think it performs better than it did. However as I read the reviews most are using it for standard PC stuff and not retro emulation so for spread sheets and things that aren't too demanding I'm sure it is just fine. Personally I would just save my 150.00 bucks and save about 100 bucks more to get something that is going to perform much better. One review even said that is sucks for movies, so I guess it can't even handle video. I personally like the mini PCs with AMD chips in them, they seem to work really well. The Beelink brand seems to be currently leading the pack.
Right I'm reviewing it for gaming though. That's what I do on here. It underperforms and even if you don't want to game you can find something with way better specs and performance at comparable price point. Just do that even if you want to use it for the low powered tasks. Why get this one?
Im a computer technician and for what i understand most old consoles have different CPU instructions and native resolutions so if you tweek the ps2 emulator you could do it as ive did it on older CPUS and even laptops,
Thanks so much for noticing! Some people think I'm here to sell products but I'm just here to point out the pros and cons. People are free to purchase whatever wherever...or not. Just use the info to make the best decisions possible. Thanks again man!
Im sorry but I don't understand the logic of this review. Is this minipc bad compared to other N95 systems with the same specs? If not one should get the performance that is expected from a processors of that league. And if the performance is indeed slower than other systems with the same processor are the drivers installed of the same version on both systems? If you want to be a creadible reviewer consider all the aspects I mentioned otherwise the video and consideration given are pretty much useless (I'm saying this as a constructive criticism 😊)
Whats the point badmouthing it ? It only costs $100 ! What do you expect ? Latest Nvidia video card ? Waste of time video - utterly. I absolutely love mine. I can throw almost anything I need at it.
Point is to give an honest review. It's my honest take on it. Glad it works for you. That's the end goal and I say that in the video. If it handles what you want it to then great. I think you can get significantly better performance for only a little more $. We're all different though and what we want to do on a pc differs a whole lot. Sorry it's a waste for you but I think it's been very helpful to others like myself that want to be able to play more games on it and are okay with spending more than $100. The bosgame mini pc for example is $139.99...up until wed it was $119 and it can effectively emulate ps2, Xbox, gamecube, and switch. I think most would pay $20-$40 more for that added performance.
Emulation is the way to go... but not when it sucks.

Thank you for a honest review
These 4 core 4 thread systems are mostly all low performing. The N100 seems to be the champ out of the 4 core 4 thread units
Your review is like criticizing spoons for not being to able to cut steak properly. It's made for low powered tasks like servers, NAS, pihole, etc...

Not powerful but decent for older retro games

Think this little box could be used as a firewall like OPNSense / PFSense?

Do you have a link to your most recommended Mini PC I am going to start a cabinet build next month

I am willing to spend more for one that doesn't limit me... I appreciate your advice!
thinking of purchasing this as a home media centre, movies, live tv mainly 1080p. Would this be any good for as home media pc?
What's up RGG
It's that sort of price where you get what you pay for but shave off another 60 and you got yourself a deal
I’m so sad to see this because I got one for my birthday
What? How do you get terrible fps. I get a really stable 60 fps on Wii U. I also played counter strike source at 170 fps.
Hi I have very a 9th gen i7 intel what can that run retro wise
It sounds like it is a must miss product.
So close but not quite.
I got the same model and it sucks, sadly didn’t see this useful information before.
Sorry to hear that. Yeah it's pretty inconsistent and awful in my experience too.
@@OfficialChaseBroganI have the same model and it’s really good. I can run Wii 60 fps. Maybe model disfunction.
Proof that flashy does not equal good.
100%!
Hey 👋🏻🤓
Needs a little bit of more juice to emulate...😢😢
The Celeron always bad choice
