Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us, I could never afford some of the toys you have, but I can still enjoy them vicariously, so thank you for sharing. Just one thought that worried me, this video shows your location on your porches PCM (unless you spoofed the location of course), it could be a personal security risk. I apologise if I am talking nonsense but thought me looking foolish is worth it to draw you your attention to this consideration. Have a brilliant weekend and again thank you for sharing.
@Ethan... hold on mate.. do you have a slot for a SIM card?? as it says "SIM CARD" on the top of the PCM screen, which I don't have... and apparently we can't put our own SIM anymore in the cars with the new PCM 6 (thus obliged to use the Porsche SIM). Would love your input.
My car is MY2020 so I do have a SIM card slot and I believe it should be there for even the newer cars because it’s part of the phone preparation. It’s in the centre armrest
@@EthanFromLondon Thanks for the reply. In fact, those dummies at Porsche, in the Y22 models took the sim tray out. Thus leaving you only able to use the internal SIM, or if you live in Russia (yes it's the only country apparently) where the PCM can connect to a wireless network (shared). Its completely nuts. And then if you need more than they give (not even sure how many GBs/month) then, well, you need to pay around 15£ for 7GB a month...for people who have unlimited data even across Europe... this is theft. :)
@@MarkDavidSpiteri I’ll be writing an email to Porsche today, been preparing it. As it’s just unacceptable they force us to use their stupid integrated sim, and leave us no choice to pay for a 7GB/month data subscription that can’t even be renewed in the same month of you use the 7GB.

Looks like your 992 is first year. You could configure the PSE and others on the buttons without having them as hot keys.
