Marty you are one of the best Photoshop trainers I know here on youtube, your videos are just great and well suited to make friends with Photoshop better and better.
@@BLTV_Photoshop You are great, thanks again. But it's already like what you said; rgb and 8 bit. I can see many filters but anything about the charcoal :( I'm using the CS6 version.
@@BLTV_PhotoshopCompared to your image, mine doesn´t look like a sketch. More like a cheap filter. There are no cross hatching strokes or linear stroks that resembles a graphite pen. The strokes look more like a ball pen, where the center of the stroke is bright and both flanks are darker. The strokes also look like ...worms. Don´t know exactly how to describe it. There are also zones wich seems not to be done and other zones where darker pixels appear like splattered ink. I mean...it isn´t anyway near yours, nor it looks like a sketch. Thanks for your help.
For years I was listening to that magic voice. Now I have an idea of a face owening it😊

After all these years you're still the best Marty. Thank you for this vid.

Tricky thing about that charcol level, you have to have black as your foreground color and white as your background to make it like in the video.
Thanks for that! I couldn't figure it out but I knew some smaeter person would.
What a wonderful idea! Another great tutorial!!!
Thanks for your effort. Many steps. Nobody can remember, besides you do steps without explaining why you did it. We are all learners.

Thanks for the vid. There is no Charcoal filter in the Sketch folder. What can I do?
Go to Image > Mode > RGB color, 8 bits/Channel
