i'm loving the way youve edited and explained the fitting of this preamp and pickup ...really easy to follow and your aussie accent is charming...off to buy one for my guitat tommorow and fit it,,,,,Nice one Man!
Fantastic clean tutorial , i struggled initially with doing the same for guitalele and ukeleles, cause the hand doesn't fit properly in the soundhole , I like fishman all the way but a tacky velcro battery box , i mean come on , either make it passive or don't let us remove the entire string set to change the battery , great video though . cheers
Dave, You do need to put a warning in to your video itself... to explain that you have incorrectly installed the end-pin and unit. As per what William Grassi advises, your finished screwed position of the end-pin strap locator boss needs to be set as per the instructions that come in the box ... Cheers
Your end pin was installed to short it should have at least a thread showing past the end piece for the strap so the strap does not try to unplug the cord when it's installed. Check your instructions it will show and explain what I am talking about.. .All The Best.
Hey David, great Video! Has the hole for the pickup necessarily be at the deep E string for right hand players? Mine is at the place of the high e String under the saddle now. But it doesn’t sound really great! Greets, Lukas
the slightest variation can change the volume, the bottom of the saddle needs to be perfectly flat try doing this ruclips.net/video/nV4MaXKUZbs/видео.html
There's the Matrix Infinity and this one the Matrix Infinity VT. This on came out late 2017 the other one has been around for well over 10 years. It's a struggle to find a good sound comparison between them so goodluck. In my opinion the VT is a tad more natural sounding the original is more metallic sounding, I do like metallic sounding piezo like ed sheeran kind of sound. It's a good sounding pickup though its main competitor is the LR Baggs element VTC so check that one out as well.
Bless you brother - someone botched my install and you helped me resolve it 🙏

Yeah very true, I fixed it when I last changed my strings. Thank you
good that you have that kind of pickup.. but poor that you have a plastic saddle.. upgrade to bone or tusq
I should really look into that it was a really cheap guitar but it's my favourite :D even over my Taylor
Where do you stick the battery?? It doesnt just hang right?

@@davidmorris1677 That is not what he asked. Try again.
does it really matter which side of the bridge the you drill the hole thru?
Cool video! Did you have to remount the tone controls or did the sticky last and stick good. I'm not sure if I should glue mine or use Velcro.
Mine is actually still good, maybe just see how long it lasts :)
But why is it so pricey ? I mean, there is complete electroacoustic guitars that cost the same as just this product
It’s very good. Thats why
The ending test should be done without the speaking micophone : only the infinity out
Fishman original?

$170 USD from amazon

working doesnt mean anything - you must control every string and its loudness.....
