I could see him easily being in the running for the Stones' Black & Blue sessions and maybe getting it but Bowie's stamp was just too far from the Blues influence that Woody 'had' from the same starting point w/out going too far away from a reality the majority could appreciate.

The most underrated, undervalued & underpaid guitar player.
I think it saddened Ronno that Bowie discarded him. Apparently he received less money than the session musicians that were on tour with them.😕
So Mick learned how to score, arrange & produce music, he was adept on the mixing desk too.
    Lou Reed
(As soon as he understand his English- Northern accent) 😆
    Lou Reed was
grateful that Ronson played lead guitar, piano & writing string arrangements on Transformer! 🤟🏼
    R.I.P.
    Lou, Ronno & Bowie. ☆

Hi All, The guitar on this track IS the original guitar that played all the Bowie recordings. If you listen you can tell simply by the tone!. The amp was a Mesa Boggie Mark I Combo with the wicker grill. If you go to the Ronson web site & click on band of 76 you'll see photo's of said amp & its the one on the track & THE guitar. Its now owned by a private collector & can some times be seen at the R-N-R hall of fame. Cheers to all Thank You Suffragete!! Bobby Chen drums on Just Like This CD
