Junior is charmless and boring now. His character is SO different than it was on Black-ish, it's like he had no back story here. They totally trashed his appeal.

Jazz and Doug feel like endgame in this scene. Say what you want but their relationship were as cute as zoey and Aaron. God I hope we see jazz again
I am glad that Junior is no longer a foil character like he was on Black - ish. Like Urkel on Family Matters, Junior has come into his own and now feels like a true main character to me.
He should get with Annika ASAP

Yeah this definitely is not the Junior from Blackish. Would've been nice to see how that Junior would have navigated through college. They have pretty much made him like every other stereotypical male in college.
Junior drank in Black - ish. I remember the episode where he brought his parents to his apartment and they all had wine. I also remember the episode where he was getting over his breakup with Olivia and Pop gave him what I think was scotch.
@Catherine Campbell I thought that part was kinda weird too. He is like a human spongebob or an older cleveland brown Jr/steve smith. I can understand he definitely waited til he was of age to drink, but him just casually ordering an alcoholic beverage for himself seems odd.
The show just turned to trashy for my taste. Just drop the Zaara and Kiela, and the show would be better. Not the actors , but the characters. Better scrip and better story telling is needed.
