A wipe-out on this thing could be the last thing you ever do. If you nose into a wave you could flip at high speed and then it's all over.

Thanks for your comment! The WaveFlyer is classified as a boat and not a PWC, so occupants are not required to wear PFDs onboard. The vessel is however required to carry stored PFDs.
Not the first electric foil boat. Sorry to say. Navier made one a couple years ago. Overboat also has one.
These guys made their first prototype in 2019, plus the claim is the first to surf waves not the first foiling boat. Navier didn’t have a prototype boat built until 2022, Candella was the first in 2014. Get your facts right
