Madilu is a rhumba heavyweight that never suffered negative comparisons & rivalry after launching his solo career. He simply delivered & everyone enjoys todate. Before him it was Franco vs Tabu Ley, afterwards Kofi vs Werrason vs Pamba Wemba(Koffi sailed but was briefly outed by a wave that came with Awilo Longomba). Am now 30 but if your still listening 🎧 to this song this year. Just kneel down and thank God for the goodness and favour that your still alive until now. These jams made our child hood memories we hold until now.
I am Zambian, but this music was a huge part of us growing up in the early 90s. Reminds me of my late father who used to enjoy listening to African music on Sunday afternoons.
I'm listening to this song in August 2022 around 10pm and it reminds me of my late Dad. He'd sing this song from word to word and stand to make a few moves before getting back to his seat again. It's been 3 years since we lost him and the song really makes me feel his presence 🥺❤️.
I don't know why Larry left classic 105...."rhumba on classic 105.....classic Larry tings dotted with Ali kiba here n there "mapenz ya na run dunia oh Larry oh
I first heard this song when I a 20 year old kid in prison in 2009. I Went in at 17. Got my GED, did a Computer course and got trusty status. Me and 7 other inmates worked at the San Antonio Food Bank after completing the culinary course. I fought tears hearing this song on the bus ride at 5am on the way to work and this song still makes me tear up today.
I was a student in Russia in the eighties when I listened to Mario. Then when I came to Kenya for holidays one time it was playing in every bar. When I went back to Russia, I couldn't wait to come back to Kenya to listen to these songs in bars.
I'm proud to be a Kenyan, and I started listening to rumba music 🎶 when I was young in a stand 4 , madilu being my favourite followed by franco, Deffao, faya Tess and Tshala muana the queen of mutwashi
Listening from Malindi, Kilifi County, Kenya. Lingala soothes the heart and whether we understand the language of the musician or not, we understand the language of music. Love lingala always.
This brings fond childhood memories growing up in the late 80s, through early 90s. I remember my dad would blast rhumba from as early as 9am every Sunday. Then afternoon tukitoka church na mum, tunampata akichoma nyama with his bro(my uncle), wakikunywanga tusker, and the rhumba still on. Life was GREAT.
I was born in UG and raised in RW i don't know lingala or Swahili but i like this man Alot. This shows me that good music has no language or culture actually has no boundaries 🎉
This was my dad's favourite tune I'll always play in his memory💔..I've had it on replay today for sometime now..the laughter part at the beginning of the song was what my dad loved doing most. He'd set the song on replay mode and wait to laugh.and we'd wait to hear it and be happy. He did that even when there was an outsider in the building..I will really miss my Dad😭😭..May your soul continue resting in peace papa ❤️
It is well @KW. I too lost my dear loving Father last March. This music was his absolutely best besides Christian music. He is resting at the Feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Am sending love to all rhumba lovers from Uganda especially to my girlfriend who is a Congolese. Am so proud of you. Am enjoying Rhumba because of you. 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇨🇩🇨🇩
Reminds me of dad whenever he's high and this plays he can't sit back but jam to his favorite hit. Daddy I can't wait to see you in Nairobi in August again, the entire Oyuga's misses you 😊❤️ my king.
Not only kenyan but also Tanzanians although not all of them, but we appriciate congolese rhumbas, Kinshasha were blessed for all these beautiful songs
😂😂😂The way it begins slowly building up and eventually hits crescendo at Azda, then steps down slowly but tactically until when the song ends you have no regrets!😂😂😂😂
The best Rhumba ever even your driving long distance if you use to listen this song you never go down, This man made my day and still now 2024 we feel this taste of song
Am still listening this music until today 2024 becouse of my late father he looks exactly like madillu system....may his soul rest eternal peace and madillu
Born 60's,70's,80's,90's know the feeling in Rhumba hits....our dads just showed us the real African music....AFRICA IS BLESSED!!🇰🇪♥️👊

Am now 30 but if your still listening 🎧 to this song this year. Just kneel down and thank God for the goodness and favour that your still alive until now. These jams made our child hood memories we hold until now.
These songs play in Kenyan 🇰🇪 🇨🇩 bars everyday. Madilu and Franco are gods. Long live Rhumba.
I listened to Franco Luambo Makiadi as a child, teenager, now ni shosh still going strong.
Point of correction please They are Legends not God's..
@@Collins_Okoth In my view they are Gods of Rhumba. Nevertheless, I respect your opinion sir.
My all time favorite Franco and madilu

Rhumba is sweet, is therapeutic, it heals a broken soul,it soothes a disturbed soul.
For sure music is made in Congo and played in Kenya.
I couldn't agree more
I am Zambian, but this music was a huge part of us growing up in the early 90s. Reminds me of my late father who used to enjoy listening to African music on Sunday afternoons.
I am Sudanese I don't understand this language, but everyday listening to this song and make me peaceful from inside.

I'm listening to this song in August 2022 around 10pm and it reminds me of my late Dad. He'd sing this song from word to word and stand to make a few moves before getting back to his seat again. It's been 3 years since we lost him and the song really makes me feel his presence 🥺❤️.
Sorry for the loss

🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿👊✌️⚡ 2024 Rhumba for life 🤩 Tz like ni hapa respect kwa mzee wetu Madilu system 🎉
Welcome to this side....it's mellow and with smooth vibez
😍
Always wondered how our American cousins would feel like listening to such music
Take heart honey 💓
Much love to you ! ❤
I was a student in Russia in the eighties when I listened to Mario. Then when I came to Kenya for holidays one time it was playing in every bar. When I went back to Russia, I couldn't wait to come back to Kenya to listen to these songs in bars.
2024 mid year,,,,where are my fellow Kenyans,,,,,,
I wonder how today's generation likes Gotha Gotha tena😢..
Am here baby❤
Rhumba music is appreciated more in Kenya than in Congo. This genre is so special to us . Rhumba is in Kenyans blood.
I can't get enough of this sing. No beats made from software, just real music instruments 👍👌
🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪My dad introduced us to this beautiful music. 2024 i still enjoy listening to it.
Madilu and Dally ipupa are my favorites when I listen to them u feel like I'm in a different world 🌍
We are the generation!
Glorious days!
Hehe... My dad would listen to rhumba from 7 am till late and it made me feel pissed off .... I now took after him, when not working ni rhumba tu
I was born in UG and raised in RW i don't know lingala or Swahili but i like this man Alot. This shows me that good music has no language or culture actually has no boundaries 🎉
I am a Nigerian, I love rhumba music, though I don't understand the language. But i always feel happy listening. Ndux44
Music is universal and has neither language nor country. Just universal love
Ugandans here we go. Madilu system the best. Such an icon hit the like button. Let's continue praying for the king
You'll never walk alone....stat strong
May he r.i.p
It is well @KW. I too lost my dear loving Father last March. This music was his absolutely best besides Christian music. He is resting at the Feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.
❤
Am sending love to all rhumba lovers from Uganda especially to my girlfriend who is a Congolese. Am so proud of you. Am enjoying Rhumba because of you. 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇨🇩🇨🇩
Reminds me of dad whenever he's high and this plays he can't sit back but jam to his favorite hit. Daddy I can't wait to see you in Nairobi in August again, the entire Oyuga's misses you 😊❤️ my king.
