Joel has gotten SOOO much better! Very descriptive with ingredients, texture and taste. I remember when he just did competitive eating and wasn't too descriptive and now he's a food connoisseur lol
@@robertbaillargeon781 Yeah he actually seems to enjoy the food and savor the moment vs just deep throating everything quickly with minimal comentary. lol
Better than some other food reviewers trying to over describe very simple foods when it's just bread 😅. I've have noticed a couple of times when Joel throws the same word as the food just to describe it lol
I now must go to the Texas State Fair before I die. This was an amazing food review. So many great options. If this doesn’t make you hungry then nothing will.
How much fun was that. Thank Thank Thank you so very much for sharing this episode, what absolute joy doing something like this and such a different way to enjoy the fair. Much appreciated. Keep safe and take care. 💖👍✌👏
I've lived in Dallas my whole life and visiting the State Fair of Texas is an annual tradition in my family. Some go for the rides, others for the food, one things for sure it's always a great time!
I have been to the Texas fair years ago and it was awesome. I love all fair foods however I am not able to do that anymore so watching you eat was great fun….🤗😋
Hey Joel. That looks like fun. I like mustard on my corn dogs. Holy biscuit, hell yea. Mole fries, aww, yes. Brisket Banh Mi, yes. I would try the deep fried butter and the jambalaya. Have fun. Peace and Blessings Joel.
Joel, regarding your corn dog question: I make a pool of ketchup and a pool of mustard touching sides, so I can dip before each bite to get a 50/50 of each condiment. With my mind out of the gutter, that corn dog from Juicy's is nothing I've ever heard of, a sausage instead of a hot dog, it's got to be outstanding. I feel guilty to my body"s health when I make garlic butter dipping sauce, so I can imagine how good tasting the deep fried butter is, oh my! Dough Muff? Thank goodness it had fruit on it and not a cheese look-a-like. (mind back out of the gutter) The lamb meatball sliders look amazing; HUGE! I hope to find some turkey lets that large this month. Great video, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Wow, what a beautiful comment, how are you? I'm Steve and I want to be your friend, I'll be happy if you accept my friendship. If you don't mind, you can leave your Gmai account or wassap

Having been there with Joel, I cannot agree more with the comments regarding the work he puts into making these videos. The dude has a passion for food and sharing his love for it with all of us.
One of my bucket list places…I bloody love fair food. Unfortunately it probably won’t ever happen. Too ill to travel these days. I miss being healthy. This is why I watch you competitive foodies. I can still get a bit of a fix.❤
Thank you so much for this awesome vid! Man, I live in Manitoba Canada and we don't have fairs like the US does, so I don't get to try all this amazing food. At least I can live vicariously through you.
I’m glad you enjoyed the State Fair of Texas. You should come back to Texas and try out some of the top barbecue joints from Texas Monthly’s top 50. You won’t be disappointed.
As an Iowan I asked myself as I clicked on the video if you were going to have the fried butter, and in the intro there it is! I know I have to watch the video now
I adore these videos highlighting what awesome at the Texas state fair! TY Joel you love Texas cuisine as much as true home grown Texans! Mustard is the traditional condiment for corn dogs in Texas. Ketchup just makes the sweet crust sweeter. Maybe stuffed pickles might appeal to me . Core out the pickle and replace with rolled ham and cheese and return to the brine till served
Loved the video and all the different foods! The ideas folks come up with keep surprising me. Only thing that would have really put the cherry on top would have been a Luther Burger, but there were a few " second cousins " of the Luther in the video that looked awesome🤤
This traditional Route 66 diner became a part of the history of The Mother Road, and the history of Springfield, when, in 1946, inventor Ed Waldmire introduced the "Cozy Dog" - the famous "hot dog on a stick." The Waldmire family still makes this delicacy daily, Monday thru Saturday.
You definitely made our mouths water with all of these delicious foods, I especially enjoyed seeing you dive into the deep fried ones :), what an awesome variety of food you shared, it looks like you had so much fun !
