Some Awesome finds. I know you won't disclose your location (that's fine), but what is the history of the area? Was it a trail, or former ranch or home sites? Certainly some reason why there have been drops that you're finding. Also, is this open land, or private (with a permission?) For me, in the SF bay area, there's just not a lot of old stuff to be found around here, and with the ongoing development, less and less opportunity as the older places get torn down and everything gets paved over. Cheers!

It was a old clay mine, 1890's. We have the same problem down here in Socal. This site is gone now, homes built on it. It was actually a small little town at one time.
