எனக்கு வயது 54. 6 மாதத்திற்கு முன்பு என் மகனுக்கு திருமணம் செய்தேன். 10 இலட்ச ரூபாய் செலவு செய்தேன். ஆனால் ஒரு ரூபாய் கூட கடன் வாங்கவில்லை. என் மகன் பிறந்தவுடன் படிப்பு, உயர் படிப்பு, திருமணத்திற்கு பிறந்தபோது இருந்து தனி தனியாக சேமித்தேன். இதுவரை கடனே வாங்கியதில்லை. ஆடம்பர திருமணம் தவறில்லை. கடன் வாங்காமல் plan செய்து சேமித்து செய்தால் சரிதான். இது என் அனுபவம்.
நாம் அம்மா அப்பா பாசத்திற்கு மாட்டி கொள்கிறோம்.. இந்த காணொளி நமது கண்களை திறக்கட்டும்.. எனது சிறு வயதில் உறவுகள் அனைத்தும் ஒன்று கூடி சமைத்து பொருள் கொடுத்து நமது இல்லங்களில் திருமணம் நடந்தது.. இப்பொழுது நமது பெற்றோர்களின் ஆசைக்கு பிள்ளைகள் மாட்டி கொள்கிறார்கள் (We fell for Amma Appa sentiments..this video is eye opener ....when I was child I remember all the relatives jointly helped in cooking for the marriages( I have seen even some people bring the groceries in their hand) and marriages are kept in houses..now a days it is unnecessary spendings due to our parents want to show them all that their child is doing great)
