Thank You _SO MUCH_ for pointing me to MIDIBerry!!!!! I'm on my second Korg microKEY37 Air controller - the first one's BT died after dropping it a few times (USB still works!), and the second just stopped connecting to my PC (would still connect to my iPad.. weird). Thanks to MIDIBerry, I can use BT again! So much less 'interrupting the muse' when I don't have to connect cables.
Glad i could help. It was a question mark for me too when i received the smk 25. Refused to think there was nothing i can do, short from getting a mac. Too bad microsoft doesnt see us musicians as a priority :(
LIVESAVER !!!! I took me quite a while to make it all work because BT used to disconnect randomly... but the Disconnection problem seems be solved once Midiberry is running. Thanks so much for this video. You are a Hero !!
There's a reason Bluetooth isn't popular with most MIDI controllers. First is that there is so much disinformation out there about the HUGE LATENCY of Bluetooth - but that's only true for AUDIO. There is some latency with BT MIDI, but it's not much. Second is that, when implemented as usual (a.k.a. As Cheap As Possible), it's on a separate board and can easily break when the unit is dropped.
Well, it’a not perfect, that is for sure, but in order to get better and better results, it needs to be implemented and tested. But those are some good points.
Finally! I solved my problem since I cant connect my smk-25 through BT. Can you make a live looping session and how do you set it up using smk-25? thanks a lot!
Can you do a update video test of how far from your Daw you can go with M-Vave SMK25 II you can walk around or move around far away, would be a great test to see how far the Bluetooth Range will continue to work.
Good day Sir, Pls am trying to login the Mk 25 app but its just saying connecting and i cant use the stop, play, rec button in my Daw which is Fl. Pls can you help me out
Are you using Rec/Stop/Play buttons via BT? I can map them in Reaper via USB cable, but via BT i can't (only keys, pads and knobs, without rec buttons). I see that rec buttons have different codes in loopModi.
while I was able to connect the device using other MIDI applications (Korg BLE, MIDI Ox, MidiBerry) I couldnt do that with MIDI Suite. it just sits there with "waiting for a device to connect". Im not sure if there's anything Ive missed since there's no documentation for MIDI Suite, which is the only thing that will let us edit the presets for the knobs and the pads, not to mention getting the transport controls to work
I wonder if this will work with my Bluetooth midi capable Akai MPC. If so, I'm thinking about possibly buying one of these. It's perfect and exactly what I'm looking for, IF, the Bluetooth midi function is compatible with my MPC Key-37.
@Marius_Tarceatu Oh, okay. So it does require special software in order for it to work? Thanks for letting me know. I think I'll pass on this one. I don’t have the konix but this one is pretty good. Midi out port is not included, if that is what you are asking.
What app do I need to do this on my Android phone?
Don’t really know!
What about bluetooth latency?
It’s there. Not to bad.
Hi. How are the knobs? Limited or Endless. If endless, do they work well with AbletonLive?
They are pretty good endless encoders. Smaller than the Arturia Minilab 3 and maybe not as high quality, but they come close. They work nice with Ableton Live.
Can I get the most out of it with just my cell phone? Bandlab?
It should run if you are on iphone, don’t know about android. Also, transport controls don’t work over bluetooth.
What drivers do you use I can't get this thing to work ?
What’s not working?
@Marius_Tarceatu the smk25 keyboard links to Bluetooth but when I've downloaded the drivers ( multiple different ones ) the drivers can't find the smk
@blakeadelmann6228 watch the video carefully. I explain everything there!
Won't work with Win 11. I tried all 3 programs you suggested and my computer sees it in the "add device" area but it will not connect. I hate Chinese crap!!! (I wish there was a version of this made by a US company). (I have the SMC-Pad Pocket)
I just made a video about the Pocket. It totally works with win 11. Go check it out.
@Marius_Tarceatu How do I find that video? Thank you 👍
Go on my youtube channel. It’s the most recent video.
@@Marius_Tarceatu OK, I watched it, thank you. The problem is there wasn't advice on what to do if it won't connect to Bluetooth; besides keep trying and be patient. It connects to my phone instantly but I've tried all day and it won't connect to my Win 11 desktop. 😥
It actually does. Get the Sinco Connector, go to plus and connect it.
Sir Can i connect two midi Bluetooth?
Yes you can
@@Marius_Tarceatu i try sir but only one midi i can connect 😥😥
@MjWendam Use this app from m-vave: ruclips.net/video/QWkKz8AmuqM/видео.htmlsi=3v2Y42SMD2Msz23T
@@Marius_Tarceatu thank you soo much sir... Your a legend 😁❤️
@@MjWendam you are welcome 😃
so when I can't connect bluetooth.,can I used wired?
Yes
Using a macbook and cannot see bluetooth appear :( anyone else?
can I use it or play using USB cable instead of bluetooth?? Thanks
Of course you can!
@@Marius_Tarceatu thanks Do I need to install the driver ? or automatically connect..?
@@Nada_Brahma-n8x connects automatically!
@@Marius_Tarceatu thanks a lot
Where did you buy this? I can’t find it anywhere
I didn't. They just sent it to me for a review. It is on their site that is in the description. But you can't buy it there. I am reaching out to them and i will get back to you if they provide a link.
Looks like you can find it on amazon now. This is an affiliate link: amzn.to/3G3UJ59
@@Marius_Tarceatu thanks!
its available on Temu
you jump into what?
Can you use just mobile phone with this
It works on an iphone for sure. Don’t know about android.
@@Marius_Tarceatu thanks A lot for your answer so I will check more about it if is truth so can be useful to me for what I am looking for ...so if is connect to iPhone do I need any app or open direct
Why 25 keys only? At least make them modular so you can attach 2 or more
This competes directly with the likes of the akai mpk or the arturia minilab as a first time studio keyboard that you can use for all your basic music production and beatmaking needs.
Mine only pairs with PC and then disconnects after a few seconds.
Fallow the steps i showed in the video and it will work.
@@Marius_Tarceatu oh my God i followed the loopmidi and midiberry thing and it actually worked, thank you!
@@EscaVODS You are welcome :)
2.14 ...and it's a priest to carry around with you in your backpack 🎒
Sounds like fun 😅 thanks
does it work with cubase?
@@kssupsi it should!
Can this be charged or how does it works ?
Yup. It charges with your own charger, as it does not come in the box with one, or when connected to your PC.
@@Marius_Tarceatu okay thanks, but i hope the battery do last ?
@@DezzyNawty i have no problem with mine…
Good day Sir, pls how can i set the play, stop, and rec in my daw, i use FL
OSX?
?
does it have aftertouch?
It does not.
Bluetooth is not working with android devices. Why you need wireless with a pc? ...you really need wireless with an android device.
I think it works, but only on certain apps. Also, it works with iphones. Maybe they will make an app for android.
If your talking about android (specifically android 13), there are bugs with the ble midi function. This problem only exists on android 13 as android 12 and 14 dont have this issue.

wat the heck is ableton
Ableton Live! 😂
Bro, help me, please. I don't have a loopmidi port in Midiberry. What should I do? Maybe you said it in the video, but I don't understand English very well by ear.
You should have a midiLoop port in your DAW.
@@Marius_Tarceatu Fl studio has this midiLoop port? Don't know?
It should have. Somewhere in midi connections, or midi instruments or something. Check around
@@Marius_Tarceatu Ok, i did something wrong. It works now. Thank you, stranger👍
You are welcome 😂
bull shit.. BLE = Bluetooth Low Energy...
"Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11, natively support Bluetooth Low Energy"
Haha, indeed
