Ate there today while visiting Nashville and it was unreal. The fried pork chop special was amazing. Al was interacting with everyone and was a great guy. Place is a must visit if you’re in the area.
the fact that Al was just gonna EAT that tab says enough abouut him. Places like that are truly the backbone of america. Nothing fancy, no crazy marketing, just genuinely good service and better food!

Al is the man. He was so busy when we went to his restaurant, he set up a card table outside for us to sit down and eat.
Hands down the best breakfast I have ever had.

Put some maple syrup in a small bowl with a few drops of hot sauce, cut off a piece of chicken, spear it and a piece of waffle and dip into the syrup. Enjoy.
This seems like a breakfast I would had had when in the mountains of Colorado on a snowboarding trip... small diner in the country, bad-ass food... and amazing "grunge" vibe! No way I could eat a full burrito nevermind all the the other items! You two are a laugh-riot!

I was sober for a month and a half and now I’m drinking beer again. But! I have a job interview coming up! So that’s cool.

What’s crazy is how hard it is to make the smart choice (abstinence) when I feel better all day not just when I’m drinking. When I’m drinking. If that makes sense. But I should have died so many times. There’s a reason I’m here. And my liver won’t be if I keep drinking. So I need to figure this out.

Dang, I can't believe the prices. Out west, a meager portion of bacon eggs toast, tablespoon of potatoes is $20. I had to look at the date of this, I was thinking, this was like 7 years ago, but man, its only 6 days ago! Awesome food, good people! Thanks for the video.

There's SO MANY restaurants like this in GA. And it's always the best breakfast
I was born and raised in Nashville. If you want a steak you go to Sperry’s. You want hot chicken you go to the place that created it Prince’s. If you want Mexican food you go to La Hacienda or El Mariachi. If you haven’t been to these places yet you should go.
Awesome to give that food to folks who NEED a good meal. What a beautiful thing.

I’ve been a lurker on your videos for a while. In the past you guys have been a bit more and please don’t take offense but like “over the top” with the performance aspect but as you’ve moved to Nashville I’ve watched you both become more what I suspect to be yourselves and down to earth and relaxed and in turn your videos are much lovelier to watch.
