Helpful video! Your room looks nice. My freshman will be in Legacy also. I have questions that I hope you will kindly answer. Where do you wash dishes? What was the most food(s) you prepped and ate in your room? Do you have to pay for cable for the TV? And lastly, which Command strips worked the best in those walls?😃
Thank you! There is a trash room on every floor that has a sink people can use to wash their dishes. My roommate and I never really ate full meals in our dorm since Legacy is really close to the dining hall and the Galley which has two places to eat and a convenience store. We mostly had snacks like chips or popcorn in our room but sometimes we would have ramen or frozen mac and cheese in the freezer. I personally didn't have cable in my room but it is optional so you wouldn't have to pay. For the Command strips, anything name brand is good. I bought off-brand command strips once from the dollar store and when I removed them they took off some of my dorm wall but that has never happened to me with the other kind!

No unfortunately there is no elevator in Legacy. I'm actually going to take online classes for the fall semester and then come back to live on campus in the spring. I watched a few of ECU's virtual town halls and decided that staying home for a little while longer would probably be better for me

I'm not 100% sure if ECU has freshmen only dorms, but I would say that from what I could tell the majority of the students in Legacy were freshmen. There are female or male-only dorms and dorms for LLC or honors students. I believe that the only hall off-limits to first-year students are the College Hill Suites. This is just my understanding though, I would definitely double-check this information!

Is the bathroom far ?
No, there are two bathrooms on each end of every floor in the hall. So whatever room you get will be relatively close to a bathroom.

Each floor of the dorm is divided by gender, so the boys their bathrooms on one side and the girls have a bathroom on the other
