Wave Breaker The Rescue coaster travels at a Length of 2,600 feet, goes 61 feet in the air, and hits a top speed of 44mph. When the water is higher, the support footers are hidden and it really looks great above the lagoon at SeaWorld.

I get that it's a family coaster, but it looks so bland and basic. Some water or splashing elements could've elevated the experience.
So true .. that ride sucks
One of the best things about family coasters is the theming and random elements they have within it. This family coaster has none of that, it seems so bland
Sea world Australia has a ride similar to this that had a portion that goes through a tunnel spraying mist
The ride should have skimmed closer to the water and moved back and forth to simulate being on a wave runner.
I thought about that but then I saw the water in that lake and I was kinda glad they didn’t get splashed with it 😬🤮

I agree! It's called wave breaker, shouldn't there be water? Well, there is a pond, but it doesn't go so low that you get splashed.

Some people are terrified of roller coasters and there are thousands of terrifying roller coasters they are missing out on, I appreciate that they made this one simple for the ones who are a bit scared to ride roller coasters. There are a dozen other scary ones at sea world, let us scared people have this one 🥺😂😂

It would likely just be a small bump into the door since most of the launch is outside, but that would never happen because of all the safety measures in place
It takes a while after it opens. Maybe they push the door to open and then a second button to launch it
@@adolfoarias The launch is automatic, so it probably just has sensors that tell if it opens, so the ride probably wouldn't launch
If someone notices this, then there must be an emergency button to stop the rollercoaster
@@AR-1806 there is, there are usually cameras to show the operator parts of the ride that they can't see, so the operator might not catch it
Rode this so many times the Summer of 2020. Best ride was when it was raining. Felt like you really were on a jet ski.

christine may Nope, Disney World is planning to open in July!! Disney World in Orlando plans to reopen beginning July 11. Here is more info: The Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks are expected to open first on July 11, with Epcot and Hollywood Studios following behind on July 15. 😀

To everyone saying this ride is underwhelming, some people don't like roller coasters as much as other people, so making a couple family friendly rides for people who have slight fears is ok! If you don't like a roller coaster because it isn't "overwhelming", then go on one that you would like! Nobody asked you to go on a family friendly roller coaster, nobody. Just deal with the fact that people can be scared, and can also have fun at the same time! It's honestly a very good ride in my opinion, because I get scared a lot. If rides like this never existed, I wouldn't have been able to try a big coaster! Family friendly coasters are made for a very important reason, not just for little kids, but so that people can work their way up.

I think it's a cool coaster. You need to rember that sea world is a family park. They can't make rides that kids and a whole family can't go on. To me it looks fun. And yes it be cool to ad some water elements or splashing would make the experience better.

Jet Rescue at Seaworld in Australia is superior. Low-to-the-ground canyon like terrain, a second launch, animatronics and just a more fun layout. The only thing this has over Australia's is a greater presence of water & a video people will actually HAVE to watch. It looks fun but forgettable overall.
But I feel like it’s a copy since sea world Aus had jet rescue first and it’s themed around jet skis and sea lion rescue, which is this ride.

I went to SeaWorld orlando over the weekend and it was alot of fun. But the ride MAKO was the most frightening of all. Hopefully one day I can visit San Antonio's seaworld.

Watching this video, I thought it must be an Intamin coaster as it has some of the ride elements as Hagrids Magical Motorbike Adventure at Universal Orlando; most notably the bike type ride vehicle and the launch start and banked turns, although Hagrids has more interesting variations.
My sister almost fell on this ride, i’d say.. you practically have to hold on for dear life, her waist wasn’t secure enough, she was screaming like crazzyy
Sea world Australia has one just like this, except their has been there for over 10 years! I liked that this one went over water tho. Very fun!

I’ve gone on this exact coaster and because the harness closes right at your hip area I got thrashed around a lot. But it seems not everyone had that same issue 🤣
Looks so much fun, something many could tolerate. Just don't know If I have the resolve to wait more then 45 minutes in line to ride it lol.

I was getting hype for this to be amazing with the name, the water-ski carts, the entrance, and those arrow with videos! That opening door too! But then you launch and it’s just a disappointment. I thought the coaster might slid through water or something. But the view is just ugh, and there nothing that seem amazing.

Considering that it is supposed to be a jet ski attraction, you'd think the track would hug the water more and include various splashes here and there. Also, it looks and sounds rough. I can see the cars visibly shaking and hear the vibration in the voices of some riders, so I'm surprised it isn't super smooth being a steel track coaster.
