How to make Crab Rangoons! Better than Takeout.

    Crab Ragoons
    8 oz. block cream cheese
    6 oz. crab meat
    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp garlic powder
    2 green onions, sliced
    pinch of salt
    Wonton wrappers
    1 Tbsp cornstarch with 2 Tbsp water
    oil for frying
    Instructions
    Combine cream cheese, crab meat, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and green onions in a mixing bowl. In a small bowl mix together cornstarch with water. Dip your finger in the cornstarch water and run along the edges of the wrapper. Take a tablespoon of mixture and place in the center of a wonton wrapper. Bring all the corners of the wrapper up to meet in the middle, pinching all the seams. Heat vegetable oil in a fryer then drop wontons into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.

    I have often wondered where the crab was too Kristi!😍
    I love Crab Rangoon but I think I've only had it once with crab inside!🧐
    Of course it wouldn't be a cheap appetizer if it had real crab!😋
    I like using canned crab meat for different dishes! Especially when I make stuffed mushrooms!😘
    I have trouble biting into traditional Crab Rangoon. I think I could put the cream cheese mixture inside the triangle folded wonton wrap. It would be easier to eat and faster to cook.
    Even making the triangle chips, you could add a little sweet and sour sauce to the cream cheese mixture.😚
    I've been so hungry for fried rice! Our Chinese restaurant has a combination one with all the meats! I thought about picking some up for dinner one night. It will surely last 2 or 3 meals.☺️

    They look good. Did you ever try using an air fryer instead of the oil. Curious if that would still work. 👍
