I went from a 2020 to the 2023 and they absolutely refined the steering and suspension. It feels much more connected to the front wheels and what they're doing. The suspension is much more composed. And they did all this without making the ride softer or sloppy. You can feel the road more and they maintained the razor sharp precision the 2020 had.
You’re absolutely right - don’t buy until you’ve driven it (and given it serious thoughts). I almost bought an Acura TLX Type S, until I drove one and couldn’t stand the exhaust drone. I also live in townhome with nice neighbors and they would not appreciate a loud cold start (I leave for work at 6:30am). We often get caught up with numbers, but truly, you don’t know what fits your need until you’ve tried it.
How does it feel compared to the Miata which was smaller and lighter? I would think that the Miata is easier to zip around town because of the shorter hood and overall size.
That’s a good way to put it - the Miata is a very “zippy” car do to its size and weight. Whereas the Supra is a very capable handler, it’s abundant power makes it a monster.
Excellent review! The main concern I would have would seem to be head/leg room as I’m 6’2. How tall are you ? I wonder what the height limit would be for this car and if you’re tracking it the helmet too might start to touch the roof?
I'm 6'1 and I fit just fine. I have the seat all the way back but I can stretch my left leg all the way out when driving to get comfortable. I'm not sure if I can get a helmet on in it but I love it so far! I suggest getting the driver assist package, really helps with the blind spots.
It says refined handling on the 2023 model but is it significant? I’ve been looking at a slightly used 2021 but wondering if I should just get a newer model
I think that they will update the engine and interior and maybe fix any complaints with the car if there’s any. Usually final edition cars are the best and I just want a new sports car at this point been driving my 04 S2000 for a while, I think it’s time to switch it up before everything goes to electric
I’ve driven the Accord from Boston to Denver and found them fine. A little firm, but ok. I would say they are average. In comparison the Supras seats are much better 👍
It all depends on the dealership and the allocation Toyota gives them. If you're looking for an AT then the wait shouldn't be that long if you're willing to shop multiple dealerships within your region. If you're looking for a non-A91 MT then you might be waiting a couple months. Best thing to do is start calling around to various dealerships. If you're in the area, or willing to travel to pickup the car, give Toyota of Hackensack a call and ask for Jeff Canlas (let him know where you got his name from). Good luck
Yes, I do sometimes. I wonder what the Supra would be like with a targa roof. With that said, I still think the decision to let the Miata go was the right one for me.
Thanks a lot for your videos , however, I feel the editing can be much better. In most of your videos, the edited cut outs are too abrupt and can definitely be made smoother.

The suspension tuning is especially impressive 👍

Exactly… everyone has their own unique tastes 🤷♂️
Lived in Colorado for 4 years, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful on a clear, sunny day…but those were few, and far between. Beautiful Supra 👍🏼
Thank you!
Toyota of Hackensack definitely has the best prices on the GR Supras. I drove mine back to Texas. Smooth transaction!
👍
how long did you wait from when you ordered it?
Before you mod the Supra can you race it against the Accord🤔
It would be interesting to see how much of a gap the Supra puts on the Accord 😁
Yes!!!
😁
Dude is that even a question? ☠️☠️☠️
What type of comparison would that be??😂
Look up BimmerCode to resolve your infotainment screen being too dark and permanently setting auto on/off
Already on it 😉
Just subscribed because I’m planning on getting that same spec ! That blue is beautiful, reminds me of the blue in the pre facelift RCF.
The Stratosphere Blue really is amazing 👍😁
Hey Chad, I believe there is a setting from the screen that will allow you to increase the brightness. It may be under menu and then display.
Thank you! I definitely check it out 👍

🤔 I never thought of that - until now 😂 👍

You don’t have any problems with the tiny windshield? That’s my biggest issue - poor visibility from the windshield. But I only sat in it.
You get used to it and learn to work around it. It’s not horrible 🤷♂️
You earned a 👍 from me just because you drove it from Jersey to Colorado hahaha that's rough!
😂👍😁

I’m 5’11”. I think even with a helmet I’ll be okay 👍. We’ll find out soon enough 😁. I think you’d be fine at 6’2”, but with a helmet… 🤷♂️

There were enough updates made to the 2023 to make me buy new 🤷♂️
Nice pick up Chad! I hope the Supra doesn’t take away from the accord content..
There’s still plenty left to do with the Accord 😁👍
Would you consider the manual if there was no dealer markup?
Good question 🤔. I think I would have to test drive it first.
Ahhh yes. Good old Colorado!
🏔️ 👍😁
Wouldn't the exhaust be more quiet if you didn't put the car in sport mode?
Are you going to put on a ceramic coating or something else to protect that beautiful blue from the Colorado sun? Happy to see that you are excited!
I’m really enjoying the Supra. Yes, I’ll be ceramic coating it at some point. 👍
The more I look at the Supra the more I want to buy one already but I feel like I should wait till they release the last version of this car
Are you waiting because you’re a collector, or because you think they’re going to offer something much better?
I think that they will update the engine and interior and maybe fix any complaints with the car if there’s any. EV is happening faster than I thought! 🤷♂️🤔
How tight is it on/off throttle compared to the auto trans?
Since you’re very critical of car seat , how do you find accords seat for long drive ?
I’ve driven the Accord from Boston to Denver and found them fine. A little firm, but ok. I would say they are average. In comparison the Supras seats are much better 👍

@@TheLemonFactor thank you!
@@TheLemonFactor how long did you wait from when you ordered it though?
Great video. On a list to get the same car with a manual transmission. Looking forward to seeing more of your content.
Thanks Joey! Hopefully you won’t have to wait long for your Supra. Did you see Car and Drivers new write up on the manual Supra? 👍
@@TheLemonFactor I did not but will need to look it up.
Thanks for the Review Chad! Cool Car!
Thank you, Silas! 👍
Hey Chad, called Hackensack of New Jersey and they said they were going to charge me a mark up of 3k. What dealer did you work with?
Ask for Jeff Canlas and let him know that you’re reaching out because you saw the RUclips video from The Lemon Factor, and mention my name (Chad).
@@TheLemonFactor Just put down a deposit! Thank you so much!
That’s great! Congratulations. What color are you getting?
This car is my dream car i cant wait to get mine later this year.
Are you planning on buying used, or new 2025?
@@TheLemonFactor 2025 because from what I hear they worked on the suspension after the 2020-2021 versions. How has the car been for you?
@BigBladeFan they did revise the suspension for MY2024, which is one of the reasons why I opted to buy new 👍
@@TheLemonFactor do you know if the ecu is still locked on these models?
@BigBladeFan unfortunately, yes 🫤
everything is great but after the markup, 70k plus is not worth it.
You don't have to pay a crazy markup on the Toyota Supra...ruclips.net/video/IheaFvd3frs/видео.html
@@TheLemonFactor sadly here around California, they’re all markup crazy. 😢
Surprised to hear there is drone on a stock exhaust
Me too… the exhaust absolutely does not sound stock 😮
This color is beautiful
It was definitely worth waiting for 👍😁
Qualifications for Pros and Cons are 1 year and not by month but ehhh it’s your opinion
do you miss the drop top?
Yes, I do sometimes. I wonder what the Supra would be like with a targa roof. With that said, I still think the decision to let the Miata go was the right one for me.
@@TheLemonFactor congratulations on the new project. Did you sell the Miata modifications separately?
Thank you! I removed and sold some mods, while leaving others on the car when I sold it 🤷♂️
The supra is worth it for the design only let alone the driving
Did you like the styling the first time you saw it?
Thanks a lot for your videos , however, I feel the editing can be much better.
In most of your videos, the edited cut outs are too abrupt and can definitely be made smoother.
🔥🔥🔥
😁
Miata was better
New Z has more HP
And somehow is slower 🤔🤷♂️
@@TheLemonFactor heavier and apparently dyno testing shows these supra's have more power than advertised.
Its a fucking bmw get it right. All bmw. Part numbers. Motor trans. Wheels i drive ext
Ok 🤷♂️
Stickers don't tell the whole story.
Basic point: BMW gets a lot of their parts from elsewhere (external suppliers) and stamp their stickers on it.
Everyone says they hate it because bmw parts but at the same time also love bmw's 😂 for me i think it makes it better
