Many Thanks for this Video. That's the way to explain: Slow moving the cursor and tell what to do and the result. Might be in the first view for dummies, but in the routine it goes faster anyway.
    Merry Christmas and thanks again!

    Hi Tom,
    thanks for your video.
I'm exploring FC for several years now and still finding new capabilities / options ;-) Inspired by your video I've found a method to trim B-splines (regardless of which WB has been used to create B-spline).
Yes, unfortunately it’s not supported by the Draft.Trimex command.
But try following, if you don't already know: take the cutting line and change to the Part WB. Extrude the cutting line symmetrically. Then select the B-spline and the extrusion and use the Slice apart command. Ta-da ;-)
    Cheers Duncan

That's a nice workaround. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Very well done. Very understandable. Just one question: there is no symmetrical trim in FreeCAD? I mean I select one line, select trim, select other line and FC either trims or extends both lines so they meet and create a corner.

Unfortunately there is no such tool yet. There has been a discussion about this on the forum: forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?t=91322

Can we trim like autocad style?

Trimming works different in some ways in FreeCAD compared to AutoCAD. You can see the differences in the video.
