First video of yours I've seen (via Kraken week playlist), you did a really good job with this. Personally i prefer the OG spelljammer setting (Crystal spheres and all) but its always cool to see the setting get love from creators. Look forward to checking out your other videos 👍 Thanks for doing this!
I remember buying the original box xet at B Dalton bookstore at the local mall and I was immediate obsesed with the setting! While I really prefer how clean the 5e game engine is... 2eSJ has just THE best lore and world building. late-stage TSR had a ton of gifted creators on their roster. I'm trying to take that old school vibe of over-the-top encounters and bring them into the 5e frame. thank you so much!
Excellent! Your team might be able to later convince it to help attack the Imperial Citadel with the fleet if you wish as well. :) check out the supplement I reference... the back 25 pages provides a conversion guide for using these mechanics throughout Light of Xaryxis as well.
@@filkearney well we have an outer shell shaped like a go stone from go board game and it's made of Adamantium. Maybe we drive through it... repeatedly. Also no clue if they go to rock before or after the Light of Xaryxis campaign events. Both are very probable. Yes I gave them time travel. They have never felt so trapped and railroaded before. Paradox? Lol. They love it tho.
LOVE such large scale problems as a player
Glad this is resonating with you!
I LOVE how flexible the 5e game engine is to kitbash different modes of play into a campaign! :D

This is amazing! I've been looking for good breakdowns of Spelljammer rules and combat.
proud to provide!
I'm working on multiple additional supplements and adventure content to build further upon these mechanics. :)
Oh I'm gonna run this. If the Maiden voyage of the Speljammer our party is making takes us to Rock of Ball then...

Fantastic! The previous campaign I ran was a time travel theme. catch me on livestream while I"m illustrating and I'd be happy to talk about it. :)
Happy Kraken week!
