my brother introduced me to Billy talent as a kid, and the second I heard this song I cried my eyes out. He lost his heroic battle to cancer last October and nothing has been the same without him.

Everyone has a reason for loving a song they hear… it can remind them of a person or pet they held near and dear to there heart i myself lost my timber wolf pup to bone cancer at the age of 13 he was most amazing beautiful majestic and loyal creature I have ever seen I miss him every day 😓this song hits me like a ton of bricks in a good way that is 🙌🏻
I honestly think this is one of the best song about cancer/terminal illness. I lost my mother just before this song came out (she died in November 2021), lung cancer took her in less than 6 months. I love how the song puts some perspective on both sides, has a hint of hope, and values the beauty of the last moments between loved ones, and the strength of character of everyone involved.
Thank you so much for this song. You really are the best, most honest and heartfelt band I know.

This song about loss hits diffrent. Lost my aunt to a very agressive cancer 9 years ago. Although I wasn't seeing her very often, she still meant a lot to me, as she was one of the kindest and most loving people ever. I unfortunately had no real Chance to say goodbye, as it was just too fast. So the song teaches me to appreciate the time with your family, because it could be gone any second. Big shoutout to Billy Talent for this great Album🔥

I first heard Billy Talent when I was around 15 years old when they released their first album. They pretty much immediately became my favourite band. I listened to their first album on repeat and even downloaded their B side songs on Limewire. Now I'm 31. and I have to say after Forgiveness pt. 1&2 we've all heard the pinnacle of a "Billy Talent" song, and I like hearing them try some new things!
1st heard them while I was studying in Vancouver, BC back from 2005. Their sound still good.

Therefore quality ain’t equals success, so they’re underrated. Just my opinion

When I hear this. I think of a man who is loved by his family but never got to see the world. Only lived in one place and had a single son. Even though he was told he was losing and his son always at his side to make sure he was comfortable seeing his son do what he did. Just living but not truly I've and asked dhim to go see the world for him and when he was done to come back, but wheb he did he aas almost at his limit but then he gave him pictures of his travels, and his father could picture all the places he visited and, for the briefest of moment, he felt like he was there himself.
That's something I wish to do for my grandfather and dad
